How To Earn Free Tips (again) in Noise
Let me start this post with a little story of the two waiters.
A couple walks into a restaurant. There were two waiters available at the time, Bob and Earn. Bob quickly welcomed the couple and asked them if they are expecting someone else to join them. Then Bob led them to a table for two and handed them the menu. While the couple is choosing, Bob, went to get a pitcher of water and filled the glasses on the table. He stepped back to waited for their orders.
Another couple came in, Earn looked at them and waited for them to occupy a table, near the door, then he approached them with the menu.
Then a group of four came in and then another couple followed. Since Earn was near the door, he pointed the nearest table to the group and ran to get another Menu.
Bob, excused himself from the first couple and welcomed the new couple and led them to another table then filled the glasses, that’s already on the table, with water. Then got another menu.
Again, Bob, excused himself to get the orders of the first couple. After getting the orders, the second couple signaled that they are ready to order as well, he politely informed the second couple that he will be there in a minute and ran off the give the order slip the cashier so the kitchen staff will be informed of the order, then ran of to the second couple.
Meanwhile, Earn also got the order of the first couple he was serving. Before he can go to the cashier to give the order slip, the group called his attention for their orders. But two of the group had a little argument on what to order. After a couple minutes, they finally decided what to order. Then Earn gave the order slips to the cashier, with the group’s order slip on top.
After a few minutes, Bob served the food to the two tables and asked them if they need anything else. The couple said no, Bob went back to his corner.
Earn, served the group’s order first. Since they ordered a lot of food, the couple had to wait a little longer for their orders. After serving the couple’s food, Earn went to out through the back door for a smoke.
Question: Which waiter deserved a good tip?
I Was Labeled 'Not Eligible'
About a week ago, Noise tried to implement some ‘Quality Control’ in the platform. I welcomed the change. Even I was later labeled (or mislabeled) as ‘Not Eligible’ and stopped receiving the system’s free tips. I was disappointed.
I wasn’t sure if it was a mislabel or not. But I reviewed my own post and realized my mistakes.

Kept on Posting
Though I was not receiving the Free Tips, I kept receiving tips from other generous users. What kept me going is, I had received $0.20 - $0.30 several times from a single user on my digital drawings. So the plan is to post more of them. But not just any illustrations, the good quality ones, or some of my WIPs.
Original Content
Aside from that, I kept on posting original photos, new and old, I post only photos that I took myself. Most of those photos were taken using my phone. But I don’t just post photos and say... ‘beautiful sunset’. No, that would only lower the quality of my post. Instead, I would describe, how I took it, where I took it, why I took and sometimes the difficulty in taking such a photo. Normally I’d put at least 10 words in the description
Free Tips Returned.
Perhaps, it was on the third or fourth day that I started receiving free tips again. I was gland and I thought I, I did the right thing.
Free Tips are Not Giveaways
Going to the story of The Two Waiters, who do you think would receive tips from their customers? Obviously, it would be Bob. Bob was polite and overall gave a ‘Quality’ service. Earn, maybe he will receive some, but more likely that he will not. Perhaps, Earn was just there too... ‘earn’ his salary and had no intention to improve his service.
Merriam-Webster dictionary defined ‘tip’ (monetary) as :
“a gift or a sum of money tendered for a service performed or anticipated”
Or gratuity. Thus, the FREE TIP in Noise.Cash is not a giveaway. So you can’t ask or demand from the administrators “HEY! WHERE IS MY FREE TIP!”
Prove That You Deserved to Be Tipped.
The Noise admins discontinued the ‘Quality Control’ rules (read: https://noise.cash/u/noise.cash). I believe, they are still using the same parameters in giving their Free Tips. Be like Bob and not Earn.
To make it more elaborate, here are some specific tips to continuously earn free tips. If you were like me who was labeled Not Eligible there is a chance to earn them again by following these tips (advise)
Do’s
Post original content- whether it’s a photo, an illustration, a poem, a recipe, or anything else, post only what you created and not anything copied from the Internet.
Be creative and put some effort - If you want to post motivational quotes, Bible verses, etc... be creative and pick a photo from your archive, apply some effects, and put the quote there.
Make Your Posts More Interesting and Engaging - This is easier said than done. Photos alone can make an interesting and engaging post unless you can post a macro-photo of a flying bee where you can see the details of its flapping wings.
One way to do this is to add an interesting or intriguing description for your photo
Submit Your Post on the Right Chamber - I have seen a lot of photos of beautiful landscapes (some are downloaded, unfortunately) in the 'illustrators' chamber. One mistake or occasional two is forgivable. But posting them consecutively in the wrong chambers... I don’t know.
Don'ts
Don’t post three or more posts in a row within two to three minutes. That is called spamming (technically it is called ‘flooding’). Especially if they simply text messages and you can put them all in one message, Like
‘Good Morning’
‘I woke up late’
‘It’s breakfast time!’
(Photo of breakfast)
On the other hand, if the content of your posts are the words above... DON'T!
Noise is overflowing with, in the words of the admin, ‘brainless’ content like that. For sure there are hundreds, even thousands, of posts like that with photos of their breakfast omelet are circulating in the Noise platform.
Stop Posting Copy-and-pasted Quotes.
Sure, motivational quotes are welcome to many users. I do post motivation/inspirational quotes in the ‘/n/motivationinspiration, chamber. But I do that as a typographic image. And I use my own image as a background. Either I use my own photo or image that I created.
Here are some examples of low-quality posts.
In Conclusion
Noise wants us to upload high-quality content, in order to receive free tips. I've encountered a question.
"What constitutes a high-quality post?"
I want to rephrase that question before answering that.
"What post deserves Free Tips?"
Let's put it this way. Put yourself in the place of the customers in the restaurant in our story. Would you tip a service like given by Bob or Earn?
Look at your own posts, would you give a tip if you see that kind of content?
These are the tips I have in mind right now. I might give another set of DOs and DONTs in the future.

Although I have been using noie.cash for months, I still can't understand some details. I've never been marked as spam, every piece of my content got a tip. Maybe a little, but it did. I think there is a serious operational problem in the rooms. Because even though I have my own picture and content in the rooms you mentioned, they either don't approve or they give approval after more than 12 hours. I don't share outside of my own rooms either. I still think there are problems with the operation
