Money derives it's name from latin word "moneta" meaning "coin". Its origin dates back to 600 BC. Since then, its value has varied with increment in days and time. It has many names in every culture and every nationality. For instance; Arabic: ู ูุงูู
Brazilian Portuguese: dinheiro.
Chinese: ้ฑ
Croatian: novac.
Czech: penรญze.
Danish: penge.
English: money.
Jewish; ืึผึถืกึถืฃ, and so on.
"What is it about money that makes it so valuable? Why must it be money for a price? Why does money exist?"
Money is a spiritual creation. It is a natural gift to man by nature. Like minerals (gold, iron, silver, etc) are hidden under the earth, money exist, not hidden though but can be difficult to see. Why so? Could it be it's value, or nature? Why does one have to work for money? Why can't humans access it easily and without limit.
These are questions humanity have raised among themselves and to some, have answers and to many, seek answers. Money is a natural gift to man and Man brought money to reality. Before the introduction of money to humanity, man have existed and lived comfortably and more peacefully without it and Since the invention to reality, we have lived with a great change amongst us .
Did the introduction of money bring chaos, envy and jealousy, or had all this been in existence? Why does no one wants to be poor and why are we all after riches?
Man's basic need they say include food, shelter and clothing, but where is money, why is it not mentioned as the number one basic need? Or isn't money needed to buy all these basics countlessly.
In the society today and since, the poor as regarded as low class. But is not having money being poor? In my opinion, I will give two answers. First, back to the olden days, I would say "NO" because people can live an entire life without counting anything money. The abundance of fruit, vegetables, and availability of land is so common among humanity. For instance in the olden days Africa, richness can be measured in land ownership, hectares of land can determine the richness of a Man. This is not so in the current day Africa.
Secondly my answer is "YES" not having money means being poor because the world is changing and has changed so fast that without money, you're probably going nowhere. You can imagine from batter to shackles, from shackles to coins and coins to paper. Amazingly from paper to air. Who knows the next myth of existence.
Money can make life so comfortable. It controls the activity of man which include, the government, schools, churches and organisations. Even our different religion can't stand stronger on its own without money. In the world today, who knows "money is the only basic need of man' isn't a hidden truth.
Money is wealth. Money is peace of mind. Money is happiness. Money is independence. Money is income. Money is prosperity. Money is success. Money is freedom. Money is money and most importantly, time is money.
Once a man has wealth, he becomes like a god but when a man is poor, no one wants to associate with him. Not even his own family.
How do people make this money, how do people get richer and richer and some other gets poor and poorer. All fingers are not equal is a saying raised by the rich to separate from the poor.
Are people born rich, are people born poor or is it destiny? Do we have to suffer or lie low to make this money. Some believe that one can be destined to be rich but no one will ever say that one is destined to be poor. Now who knows these answers?
Finally, I have a strong conviction that the power to decide our faith in getting wealth lies in our hands. One last question.. if everyone gets rich, who would do the menial jobs? Nature provides the best answer to this with specialization. In every society, there are the rich, there are the poor. Being rich is hard, being poor is hard too. So my dear readers, choose your hard.
