Hello guys. Today i'm going to review most hyped, unique, optimistic korean movie named "Parasite ".This movie has received six Oscar nominations. Exactly how much internationalization can a Korean film capture at this levels?
Bong Jun-ho did not imitate other foreign film genres. Tells the story of his own soil. That story is everlasting. It could be said in any country, in any background. That's the decent thing to do, and it should end there.
The director has woven the family story in the thread of the thriller. Four members of a family. Parents and siblings. Everyone spends their days looking for work. One day a tuition alliance was arranged for the son of the family. The rest of his family found a place in that aristocratic house one by one. Which, of course, made the video an overnight sensation. But the excuse of being a 'parasite' in the persecution of scarcity changes the logic. Their family continues to swear under the shelter of that aristocracy. But one night all accounting changed. The struggle for survival begins again.
Black tape in the eyes of the actors on the poster of 'Parasite'. There is no such scene in the film. The picture is actually symbolic. That is why in the same society, the upper and lower classes coexist effortlessly. The upper class is happy, the lower class says they are not overstepping their bounds. It is their poverty-smell that makes them uncomfortable.
The Korean picture always shows the truth in a rude way. The ground floor in which the lower class family lives is enough to explain their social status. Everything is washed away in the rain water. Smelly water is coming out of the pan. Sitting on top of her, the girl of the house holds a cigarette of peace. He knows that is the future. That's why it's not clear whether the food of the day will be gathered or not, but everyone's thoughts are why the Wi-Fi signal is not being gathered!
This picture is also political. Despite South Korea's emphasis on nationalism, the director also conveyed the message that the youth community is fascinated by English. The idea that things bought from America must be the best, at all levels of society. Hostility between North and South Korea has also risen. Two hours and 14 minutes of photography will not feel extra. Thriller elements with survival, hold the foundation of the story.
The character's identity is inconsistent in this critique. While ‘Parasite’ maintains the genre of Korean photography, the characters are familiar to us. The acceptability of this picture is rooted in it.
Thanks for your attention and stay with me for more.Happy watching😊
