The atomic bomb is one of the few curses that has emerged in the age of modern world civilization. Ever since the atomic bomb was discovered, it has been considered the worst tool of barbarism in the world. In its use, the whole human race has seen a terrible and horrible form of civilization. Ownership of nuclear weapons in today's world carries the identity of the strongest in the world. Everyone expressed their intention to establish themselves as a superpower by establishing rights over such weapons and bombs. In recent years, however, there has been a growing effort to disarm nuclear bombs and weapons worldwide. Because its misuse has put people's lives in grave danger.

What is the atomic bomb:

The atomic bomb is the most powerful and destructive weapon in the world today. An atomic bomb can be defined as a bomb that explodes with the help of energy generated when the center of an atom splits. It is also called nuclear bomb.

History of the discovery of the atomic bomb:

The discovery of the atomic bomb, a symbol of brutal barbarism, has a long history. The names of several famous scientists and researchers are involved in this history. Attempts to discover the atomic bomb began in 1919 with the help of the famous scientist Rutherford. Several Columbia University professors later accelerated the effort through their own research work. George B. Scientists like Program, Conant, Brigham, Lawrence, Murphy, etc. took this activity forward. In 1943, the scientist Oppenheimer took this effort to the final stage. The first atomic bomb was discovered in early 1945. In recognition of this work, Oppenheimer was called the inventor of the atomic bomb. Shortly after the discovery, the world saw the horrific and tragic use of this bomb.

The use of the atomic bomb in World War II:

The brutality and horror of the use of the atomic bomb was first demonstrated in 1945 towards the end of World War II. The consequences of using the bomb as a weapon of war were horrific and heartbreaking. World War II began in 1939 and lasted until 1945. In that war, Germany-Japan-Italy were the fascist axis. Oppenheimer, the inventor of the atomic bomb, planned to use it to liberate Germany and mankind from the brutality and tyranny of Hitler, then head of the Nazi forces. But the United States at that time considered Japan to be its biggest enemy. As a result, the then US President Henry Truman identified Japan for the final attack. Finally, on August 6, 1945, a 20,000-ton TNT-powered atomic bomb was detonated by US forces in Hiroshima, Japan. As a result, large areas of the city were completely devastated. Stacks of destruction were built all over the city. The bombing killed at least 6,000 people and injured 69,000 more. The city had a population of about 343,000. The atomic bomb was dropped on the Japanese city of Nagasaki again on the 9th of the same month, without cutting off the remnants of the Hiroshima massacre. About 39,000 people died and another 25,000 were injured. The atomic bomb destroyed about 60,000 homes. Although the use of bombs has not expanded much since 1945, there is still a tendency among the world's most powerful nations to use atomic bombs and weapons.

Atomic bomb and the deterioration of world peace:

The incident of atomic bomb blast has hit the stream of world peace. But world leaders do not seem to have learned much from the consequences of this horrific devastation and extreme inhumane treatment. As a result, new peace has not been established in the world but anarchy and enmity have increased manifold in different countries. Powerful states like the United States, Britain, France, Russia, China, etc. are engaged in a dirty game of making and using atomic bombs. As a result, world peace is constantly deteriorating.

Nuclear Powers:

The presence or absence of nuclear bombs and weapons is considered as a measure of power among the most powerful countries in the world today. On this basis, the top five most powerful countries are called nuclear-rich countries. The countries are the United States, Russia, England, France and China. In international politics, they are known as the Nuclear Club. Apart from these five countries, India, Pakistan, North Korea and Israel are also believed to have nuclear weapons.

Prevention of the use of the atomic bomb:

The United States first took the initiative in 1986 to protect modern civilization from the toxic effects of atomic bombs and weapons. The first agreement was signed in 1960. Initially, only three countries signed the disarmament treaty. Later in 1995 that number increased to 183. The International Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) was established on the basis of global awareness. The most notable of the steps taken to reduce and phase out the use of nuclear weapons is the CTBT. Its full name is 'Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty'. Its purpose was to prevent anyone from developing and using new nuclear weapons. It is clear that the international goodwill of the armed nations is essential to freeing the world from the horrors of the atomic bomb. First of all you have to deactivate your weapons. Otherwise the effectiveness of the contract will never see the face of success.

The discovery of nuclear power is undoubtedly one of the achievements of human civilization. This power can be used for the welfare of the people. But it is being used to destroy mankind. It is not possible to establish peace in the world without completely eliminating the direct and indirect war with nuclear bombs and energy. The move by world leaders is essential to unite the world by destroying these nuclear weapons, a threat to human civilization. In this case, the nuclear-rich countries should come forward first.
