Nature and the environment were equal in the days when the creatures and animals were created on the earth millions of years ago. Nature and the environment played a role in maintaining this balance. People have gradually developed their own environment along the path of evolution of civilization. Man-made environment is the product of the evolution of his civilization. Man has accumulated various methods of science and technology with his new discovery talent, hard work and skill. Has acquired various materials for life development. So he has created his environment according to his own needs and tastes. Its development in this environment is an indication of its destruction.

Causes of environmental pollution

Population growth is one of the causes of environmental pollution. As a result of population growth, natural resources have come under tremendous pressure on water, soil and air. The immense joy of destroying forest resources has started. At the same time the plant world and the animal world have been damaged. The balance of nature and environment has reached a critical stage. Added to this is the growing demand for energy production. Along with energy production, various chemicals that pollute human health and the environment are emitted. Contaminated chemicals are the cause of the rapid spread of various incurable diseases. This is seriously polluting the air, water and food.

Air pollution and various reactions

There are also differences in the nature and method of pollution. Air is one of our natural resources. That air pollution is all over the world today. This is a serious problem for everyone's health. The amount of carbon dioxide in the air is constantly increasing. As a result, the temperature in the weather is gradually increasing. Premature rains, storms, fog are the fruits of this. Cultivation in such weather is uncertain. Fog and a mixture of gases emitted as a result of combustion of oil and coal. His harmful powers are deadly. Headaches, shortness of breath, asthma, chronic bronchitis, lung cancer are the result of such contamination. Exhaust fumes from various vehicles come in contact with sunlight and produce light chemical fumes. The reaction of oxides and hydrocarbons causes some more air pollutants.

Water pollution

Water pollution is another curse of modern civilization. The water of the world's seas, rivers, ponds, canals, etc. is being polluted in various ways. Prosperous towns and cities have developed on the banks of the river. Modern mills, textile mills, coal mills, sugar mills, paper mills, herbal oil mills, tanneries, etc. have been established. The waste of these factories is constantly polluting the river water. Alkaline, ammonia, cyanide, naphthalene, phenol and various chemical pollutants are coming from different industrial areas every day. Almost all the rivers of Bangladesh are polluted. Ponds, canals and beels are responsible for pollution, sewers, household waste, etc. From this the soil is polluted and the drinking water is polluted. The fish of the sea river Khalbil pond is also getting various pollution. Various infectious diseases are spreading. Occasionally it takes the form of epidemics. How many lives are snatched away by death. In this way public health is being destroyed day after day.
