Bangladesh of my dreams

We are fascinated by the beautiful environment of the nature of this country, Bangladesh. Even after 43 years of independence, we have not yet got the Bangladesh of our dreams. The Bangladesh of my dreams must be built by utilizing nature, using its resources wisely and adopting far-reaching plans and policies.

The coup of the dream Bangladesh:

Bengal was annexed to Pakistan in 1947 after being liberated from the clutches of nearly two hundred years of British rule. But the fate of the Bengalis did not change. They hurt the freedom, language, education, literature, culture, economy, social status and politics of the Bengalis. The Pakistani rulers first attacked the language. In this, the real rise of nationalism of the Bengali nation took place through the language movement of 1952. The United Front won a landslide victory in the 1954 provincial elections and formed a cabinet, but was not allowed to remain in power. In 1958, the then President of Pakistan imposed martial law and started exploiting the Bengalis. As a result of the mass uprising of 1969, President Ayub Khan handed over power to General Yahya Khan, the Chief of Army Staff. General Yahya Khan promised to hand over power to the people's representatives after taking power. But even though the Awami League won a landslide victory in the 1970 elections, it was not given state power. As a result, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in his speech on 7 March 1971 declared readiness for war for the independence and liberation of Bangladesh. The Pakistanis carried out a massacre in East Pakistan on the night of March 25, 1971 under the name "Operation Search Light". He declared the independence of Bangladesh before the arrest of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at midnight on March 25, i.e. in the early hours of March 26. On March 26, 1971, Major Ziaur Rahman read out the Declaration of Independence on behalf of Bangabandhu from the Kalurghat radio station. With Bangabandhu's declaration of independence, the people of Bengal jumped into the war of liberation. After a long and bloody war of nine months, Bangladesh made its debut in the world as an independent country on 16 December 1971.

Bangladesh of my dreams:

The hopes, aspirations, dreams and consciousness with which the people of Bengal made Bangladesh independent in 1971 have not been realized even after 43 years of independence. They wanted an independent democracy with the rule of law everywhere, economic self-reliance, increased health care, improved education and changing socio-economic conditions. Expressing solidarity with the dreams of the brave sons of a Bengali mother who sacrificed her life in 1971, I am discussing the outline of my dream Bangladesh below.

Corruption free society:

Bangladesh of my dreams will be corruption free. Therefore, corruption must be eradicated from the society. Everyone needs to be made aware of the evils of corruption. We have to build a social movement against corruption. Corruption must be properly punished. We have to move forward with the attitude of not corrupting ourselves and not allowing others to be corrupted. Only then will Bangladesh be free from the scourge of corruption.

Building an illiterate society:

Most people in Bangladesh are still deprived of the light of education. They cannot even get primary education. These illiterate people are living below the poverty line. They are not aware of their rights. The present government must work to eradicate illiteracy and the educated masses must come forward.

Population control:

During the war of independence, the population of Bangladesh was only 6 crores. At present the population is about 16 crores. The population is growing at an increasing rate. This is putting pressure on the country. In order to reduce this pressure, population growth must be controlled. Different methods of controlling population growth need to be followed. The population has to be turned into human resources.

Law and order situation:

Rule of law must be established in Bangladesh. Law and order needs to be improved. The real culprit must be found and punished. The law enforcement agencies have to pay special attention to ensure that people do not break the law and order, do not commit corruption, do not take bribes, do not disturb the peace and order of the society, do not do destructive acts. They have to fulfill their responsibilities properly. Only then will we move forward to the dream Bangladesh.

Employment growth:

The workforce is not growing at the rate at which the population of Bangladesh is growing. As a result, the number of unemployed in Bangladesh is constantly increasing. These unemployed need to be given proper employment. This will start the progress of the country and will be self-reliant.

Expansion of technical education:

The need for technical education in Bangladesh is immense. Unemployed youths will be able to create their employment if they are educated and trained in technical education. They will no longer be a burden to the country. They will become economically self-sufficient and take part in the development of the country.

Use of modern technology:

The current world is dependent on modern technology. Bangladesh needs to be turned into a 'digital Bangladesh'. Internet usage must be ensured in all parts of the country. Modern technology has to be used in offices, courts, schools, colleges, universities, agriculture, business, banking and insurance.

Non-communal policy:

People of different races, religions and castes live in Bangladesh. They all need to be viewed in a secular light. No discrimination can be made. Everyone must work together for the development of the country.

If the above dreams are realized, no one in this country will have to struggle with hunger and live, no one will die due to lack of treatment. Everyone needs a touch of modernity. Bangladesh of my dreams will keep pace with the developed world. Only then will this country be one of the happiest, most prosperous and developed countries in the world.
