As humans, we all have a great debt to pay. No matter the race, gender, age or stage of life, it is a must to pay this great debt.
This debt, can't be settled with money,it's only settlement is our life. We are all in this world to die, one day. No matter how rich we may be, death is sure. No matter how influential or popular you may be, death it's inevitable.
You think because you are poor, suffering or homeless, you won't pay this debt? Big lie. No matter how poor you may be, someday, death will surely come knocking.
Death, doesn't care if you are young, old, or suffered. It'll will surely come. O death! It's a natural gift, given to all.
We came to this world with both life and death. To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. A time to be born and a time to die.
Six months ago, a woman in my local church died. It was a sad moment for my church.
She was a woman of great valor. Nice to everyone and kind. An easy going woman,she was.
Though, her marriage wasn't a beautiful one. Her husband married another wife even when she was alive. Despite all the challenges in her marriage, she remained submissive to her husband.
She didn't let her Marital life affect her Christian Life.
She was last seen in church on Cross over day in 2021. We even gave her a lift to her place on the 1st of January's, 2022.
It was on the 2nd of January she slumped, and went into coma. She was admitted into hospital. Lo and behold, after the 12th day, she developed wings and went to heaven.
The church, her family, her colleagues at work, were all thrown into a deep sadness. Her death was unexpected. People were shocked.
She wasn't sick, she just slumped and that was the end. The day she was buried, was a day of tears. Her children could not hold herself, they wept bitterly. It was as if she shouldn't be buried.
What can they do? Absolutely nothing. She paid her debt, though at a tender age.
Like I said earlier, it's inevitable.
We are all on a line, waiting to pay our great debt. This is to remind you that we all have limited time to spend.
So, get up today, spread some love, show a little bit of love and kindness, never go along with hatred's blindness, give a little help to a friend who's weary,Forgive your neighbors, friends, colleagues and family. That's the way to make the world a happy place.
