Escape from there, the infamous female robber of history ...

He killed more than 30 people in retaliation.

In what form should Phulan Devi be presented to the reader? His life story can easily be continued as a reign of terror. After being gang-raped several times, he somehow managed to escape and killed 22 Tagurs of Behmai village by himself. The same woman who returned from 11 years in prison has twice been elected as an MP. It is your personal opinion whether you will hate or pay homage to Phulan Devi, who managed to force the police to announce a money reward in exchange for her own head by evading the police for two years. Anyone who listens to the story of this dacoit's first life without beating the Uttar Pradesh police is bound to be shocked. Let's find out the beginning and end of that story today.

Phulan Devi will be at the top of the list of those who have won the war against racism to date. In the eyes of the law, he is a terrorist, a savior to the lower castes. Regardless of the ridicule of the people who have written the story of their own misery, the story of change, the story of a war that is highly controversial in the eyes of the polite society or the upper castes of the society. It would be disrespectful to revolutionaries like him not to write anything about the influential person who was shot dead in front of his residence in Delhi 18 years ago today.

Phulan Devi landed on August 10, 1983. His parents lived in Ghura Ka Puraya, a small village in Uttar Pradesh. Being born as a girl is like the birth of this girl from the Malla community. The lower caste girls were considered as a burden on the necks of their parents. The main occupation of the lower caste Malla community is boating. Malla means middlemen. Their father planted a neem orchard over an acre of land for the wedding of Phulan, the goddess of flowers, the darling daughter of the middle house. If the son-in-law does not give the dowry, why the girls will be good?

But his own elder brother also interfered with the resources of Phulan's father. Declaring all the property as his own, he started selling the trees in the garden with his son Mayadin. From an early age, Fulon's fierce opposition began to erupt like a burning volcano. He publicly condemned Mayadin as a thief. In retaliation, Mayadin arranged the marriage of 11-year-old Phulan to a 30-year-old man named Puttilal. Phulon writes in his autobiography, Puttilal is a man of dishonest character. Forced physical contact and torture continued regularly in the in-laws' home with Shishu Phulan. Although he returned to his father's house, Phulan's family left him at his father-in-law's house instead of looking at the society. As the situation did not change, Phulon protested and went to his father's house permanently. In Malla society, a woman who had abandoned her husband was considered to be characterless. So the villagers started slandering one after another with Phulan.

Ignoring those words, Phulan Devi started fighting to protect her father's property. But Mayadin hanged him and handed him over to the police in 1989 on charges of theft. Phulen was sentenced to three days in prison. For the first time in three days, she was gang-raped by the police. The perpetrators were expelled from the family and the village after being released from prison without any punishment! Mala Sen's book, India's Bandit Queen: The True Story of Phulon Devi, says she was abducted by local bandits after being deported from the village. Some say that she left her first husband to join the gang. Whatever she is, Phulan Devi's new life begins in the bandits.

Babu Gujjar is the leader of the gang that Phulan Devi was a member of. The eyes of this cruel robber fell on Phulan. Bikram Malla, the second leader of the party, came forward to save Babu after he was raped several times. In protest of Babu Gujjar's cruelty to his own people, he killed Babu and declared himself the leader of the party. Devout robbers introduced the custom of distributing looted property among the poor. Phulan falls in love with Vikram. In love, they accept each other as husband and wife. After their marriage, Phulan went to the village of Puttilal with her first husband, Vikram, and put her on the back of a donkey in front of the people and beat her. They leave Puttilal in a state of near-death with a letter of warning that an older man should not be treated as if he had been tortured by marrying a young girl.

With training from her husband Vikram Malla, Phulan became quite adept at firing guns, looting villages, abducting landlords, robbing trains, etc. Every time Phulan used to go to the temple of Goddess Durga after a robbery and thank her for saving his life. Meanwhile, in fact, the leader of the Vikrama group was a robber from a Tagore community named Sriram. At that time the distance between the Thakurs and the Mallas was so great that they could not even keep a pot of water in one place.

Vikram granted bail to Sriram and his brother Lalaram at a cost of about Rs 60,000 as they were in jail. He also wants to hand over the leadership of the team to them. But the robbers of the lower caste knew that Sriram was in fact a spy for the Tagore and the police. So none of them wanted to accept Sriram's leadership.

As a result, the bandits were divided into two separate factions, Malla and Tagore. Sriram could not accept this division in the team. Due to which Vikram became his main enemy. After trying twice in a row, they finally removed the thorn in the side and abducted Phulan.

Behmai is a village in Uttar Pradesh, 100 km from Kanpur. An incident in this village turned Phulan Devi into a terrifying call, the identity that she carried as a bandit till the last day of her life, begins here. After the abduction, Phulan Devi was brought to Behmai village and presented to the entire villagers almost naked.
