When science is surprised!!
Science does not know why this happens to people! Giving an example before moving on to the main topic will make it a little easier to understand.
Suppose you are a cricket lover. On top of that, Bangladesh has reached the final of Cricket World Cup again. The final game will be played tomorrow at 8.00 am. You chatted with friends all day today and had a party to make it to the finals in Bangladesh. So far everything is fine.
You fell asleep at night like every day. Then you got up at 8.00 in the morning and started the sports channel early. And then, you were surprised.
The final is not being played on any sports channel. Then you called your friends and wanted to know which channel cricket is being played on !!! But then you are even more surprised!!!!
Your friend said: Cricket?
Is it a game again? There is no such game. You thought maybe your friend was joking with you. But then why the game is not showing on TV!
You called all your relatives, friends. But they said the same thing !!! No one knows that there is a game called cricket !!
Your head then went completely bad. You have no idea what is happening to you or why. This is called the Mandela Effect. A few years ago, a famous movie called Star Wars was released. Where there was a dialogue luke, I am your father. The movie was watched by many people on the first day of its release. So far everything was going well.
But the problem started when everyone saw this movie for the second time on the internet or on TV. They saw that actor luke, i am in your father's place saying no, i am your father.
Everyone suddenly fell from the sky to the ground. Everyone was amazed at how this is possible! Countless people claim that this is wrong! The matter then caught the eye of scientists.
Scientists began research on it. A team of them approached the movie makers and asked if they had made any changes to the movie! But they didn't say we didn't make any changes to the movie. This has happened to billions of people around the world.
The matter was first caught by scientists at the time of Nelson Mandela's death in 2013.
At the time, a large crowd claimed that Nelson Mandela could not die now. Because he died in 1970 while still in prison. And they watched Mandela's funeral live on TV. And Mandela's wife also mourned that day live.
From which this subject is named Mandela Effact. If one person or a few people claimed it, they would be called insane.
But when millions, billions of people from all over the world make the same claim, we can't call everyone crazy.
Scientists do not have a clear explanation for this, but scientists have a theory called parallel universe. Which is fully incorporated into science fiction.
