Hi everyone, I will love to share a very delicious recipe with us tonight, we all have been hearing or we all know Gizdodo but today, I am not share this recipe with us but something related to that, I will like to share BEEFDODO recipe with us, I switch from gizzard to beef because beef is cheap compare to gizzard and lately I noticed gizzard is scarce, so I choose to use beef.

    INGREDIENTS

Ripe plantain

Beef

Groundnut oil

Pepper

Tomatoes

Onion

Green bell pepper ( Tatashe)

Carrot

** And some people like cooking with garlic, feel free to add it, it will taste good.

PROCEDURE

Cut the plantain into dices, season it with salt and set aside. Get your beef and cut into tiny size but not too tiny because the beef will shrink while frying. Heat up your pan, add oil and add your plantain, continuous stiring till it become golden brown and after that you remove it from the oil and set aside.

Let's move to meat, put your meat into a clean pot, add your seasoning, place on medium heat and cook till it tender. When you are done cooking the meat, you can use the same oil used in frying the plantain for the meat too. While frying the meat, get your blender and grind roughly the pepper, tomatoes and onion.

It's not bad if you choose to use the same oil for cooking the delicacy but I choose to use fresh groundnut oil, heat up the oil a little in a medium pot and add sliced onion, this will allow the onion to release its flavor into the oil and it will add more taste toour delicacy, after frying the onion for like two minutes, add the blended pepper and allow it to simmer for few minutes.

Season with salt maggi, carrot and mix them together thoroughly, cover and allow it to simmer. The next is to add the beef that has been fried but I will like to call our attention to the sause ( we can remove a little bit of the sauce to avoid our food being over sauced) and after the beef, I love adding some stock ( water used for booking of the beef) and I will allow it to simmer for two minutes and I will add the fried diced plantain.

You can garnish with green bell pepper strips and sliced onion for some pop of colour. This sauce can be serve with rice, spaghetti, yam or beans but I love it with rice and beans cooked together. Enjoy. Feel free to drop a comment.
