Hello,my dear @Read.Cash firends.I hope everyone is well..I think everybody is acquainted with the word Viper👹...Today i'm gonna tell obout Vipers..So,let's get started..
Several species of domestic animals can be the object of poisoning by vipers. The most affected species are dogs, especially when hunting, but this also applies to cats, horses and cattle. There are several species of vipers in France, the two main ones are the asp viper (Vipera aspis) and the peliad viper (Vipera berus). During the winter months, they hibernate in inaccessible places, the risk of encountering these snakes is therefore higher from March to November.
Asp vipers live in wasteland, groves, underbrush and rather dry land. Peliadic vipers live in varied terrains, sometimes marshy or humid. Unlike vipers, snakes are harmless. It is therefore important to know how to distinguish them. The viper has a triangular shaped head covered with small scales, while the snake has a round head covered with large scales. Vipers are most often less than 50 cm and a maximum of 85 cm long.
To behave : In all cases, it is advisable to quickly contact a veterinarian to explain the situation. Immediately, you can apply an antiseptic to the wound, and place your animal in a quiet place avoiding stress, then apply intermittently to the bitten area a very cold damp cloth or an ice pack to limit the swelling and spreading of the venom. It should be worn if possible to take him for consultation, even if he is able to walk. There is no antivenom available for animals, but your veterinarian can initiate symptomatic treatment.
I hope everyone enjoyed it.
Thanks for your valuable time❤
