ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY - ARRHYTHMIAS
The Electrophysiology team of the Favaloro Foundation cares for both children and adults with electrical disorders of the heart, such as supraventricular tachycardias (Wolf-Parkinson-White syndrome, atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter, among others) and ventricular ones; bradycardias that require implantable devices such as pacemakers and severe ventricular arrhythmias that require implantation of cardioverter-defibrillators and resicronizers, to name a few.
In addition to diagnostic and treatment procedures , the service has an Arrhythmia Clinic , attended by specialists every business day at extended hours.

The team of electrophysiologists of the Favaloro Foundation is one of the groups with the most experience in Argentina in the diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmias.
EQUIPMENT
The service has state-of-the-art technology that allows to perform electrophysiological studies and radiofrequency ablations for the treatment of different types of arrhythmias with a high success rate. Ablations can be performed by fluoroscopy or by catheter mapping and navigation equipment that allows three-dimensional reconstruction of the different cardiac structures. The system also shows the position of conventional electrophysiology catheters and minimizes X-ray exposure.
