Bangladesh is walking on hard immunity!
According to the latest data from the National Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) and the International Center for Diarrhea Research Bangladesh (ICDDR, B), 45 per cent of people in Dhaka and 64 per cent in slums in Dhaka have Covid-19 antibodies.
Academically speaking, hard immunity has been created in the slums of Dhaka. However, if 45 percent immunity is created in other parts of Dhaka, then in the next few months, the whole of Dhaka is likely to fall under the scope of hard immunity.
Undoubtedly, Covid-19 is one of the bad news. The hard immunity that we have known so far mathematically and theoretically, I could not have imagined that Bangladesh would step on that path so fast.
I wrote about hard immunity in bdnews24.com three months ago, then I thought that in a country like ours, understanding hard immunity is just a 'myth'. But the latest information is that Bangladesh's strong position in tackling this epidemic is being observed.
I don't know how many people have died in the slums of Dhaka to get 84% hard immunity, just how many have been infected by them?
However, if this rate of hard immunity occurs across the country, then the country's economy will go much further than other countries. The good news for us is the strong role of the body's immune system in the natural way before getting the vaccine.
Mathematically we follow the 1 - 1 / R0 model to understand whether hard immunity is usually created in an area. R0 (R not) refers to the number of basic copies. Suppose the value of a virus and a knot is 3, then three people are likely to be infected by one person infected with the virus. Then the value of hard immunity will be (1-1 / 3) i.e. 0.6 or 6 percent. This is just a mathematical value.
The value of 'R Knot' of SARS-CoV-2 is between 2 and 6. Initially, the R-Knot value of the infection that occurred in Wuhan, China in December 2019 was 2.2. That is, of the 425 infected people, Chinese researchers found the value of this R-nut, which was infected within 7-8 days.
