Everyday you wake up You put on your neat clothes For all the bruises and scars That you need to cover up All the hurt inside That you always try to hide It always shows on your face All the regrets and sadness that you've faced So before you go through the door You put on your mask For the show's about to start As you open the door once more With your cheerful mask The endless masquerade will begin As you try to fool yourself And everyone else all over again
