What is partiality

In one sense, people are born with the quality of partiality. No one can be indifferent to everything. Everyone has a favourite band, film, and food. No matter how much you declare neutrality, you would still have a favourite team, player or sport, and if you really want to be honest with yourself all the time, no one is neutral in politics and religion.

Ideally, impartiality should be exercised when referring to things that do not affect us personally. Impartiality is best used in a clinical setting where you remove personal bias towards a patient. In a court of law, impartiality is called objectivity.

Partiality is a gesture towards the act of deliberately establishing a bias. Partiality is not just a problem of fairness and equity, but it is also an important factor of success in entrepreneurship.

Categories such as gender or race are two major factors impacting entrepreneurship. However, many people transcend these aspects by using their distinctive skills.

Don’t be bias in choosing a coin.

When we look at a coin, or a digital currency or any form of value, we need to look at it as a unit of value. We need to be careful not to judge it because its not perfect. So you know, when you look at the stock market everybody doesn't own every company, everybody doesn't own the same stocks, but people still manage to make money. Value is value. And so I think if we start looking at what's going on in the market and then figure out; okay, well how does this work? How does this work for the person using it? How does this work for the people that are involved? And if you're not seeing anything wrong with it, then I think it's ok to sort of jump in and dabble a little bit.

"I hope you don't mind me sending this message to your Gmail account, but I figured with all we've been through, it was more appropriate than my business email account." I paused and waited for his response, which was a bit surprising. His silence was golden, because it allowed me to continue in a very serious tone of voice. "I'm referring to our very first meeting, when I gave you the offer of full-time employment and you said you were looking for an internship," I said. "You said it would be an unpaid internship, but that you were willing to do anything just to get your foot in the door. You said you'd happily work for free.
