Pakistan is versatile country with unique and beautiful generous people. Its beauty is famous all over the world with beautiful hearts. People are bestowed with lots of blessings and courtesy. Food is something which everyone loves to eat and eats for living everywhere all around the world but our nation is highly  made with heavy and spicy ingredients. People know here courtesy and entertain guests with their food items. If we go through as a whole, every side of country is seasonal means if one corner of country is hot other is humid or cold. Similarly, the food items differ according to area, everywhere its unique and now in this fast pace mode , even pakistanies love all of tribe’s or region’s food throughout seasons.

We are allocated by main four provinces and one federal capital with some azad jamu Kashmir area which is half occupied by indians. So, every Area has its own specialty .

We have Punjab, sindh , balochistan and Khyber pakhtunika as provinces.

If we go to Punjab, its main agriculture land and whole hearted people are found, the food is sarson ka saagh(mustard leaves cooked n marinated in some spices) with butter on top with makayi ki roti or simple desi roti(wheat bread). Non-vegetarian dishes are made with lamb, eggs and fish.

Punjab is most populous region of country.and people of Punjab are very foody.famous biggest city of Punjab is Lahore..it is said,jis Lahore ni vekhya who jamiya I ni (the person who dint watch city Lahore is not actually born)and jis ny Lahore da khana ni khada us jam ky ghawaya(who dint eat food of Lahore he wasted his life).So, its pnjabi quote which constitute that food is so important and so is the taste o region.Famous dishes of Punjab are butter chicken, chole bhature, dal makhni,karma prashad and lassi.Ghobhi shaljam dal dhaba and many more made of chicken and meat which include alu ghosht(which is traditional and common made on daily basis on alternate days) and palaou (dish of rice with soaked rice with meat or chicken, generally with meat is more loved. tandoori chicken and butter masala also famous which is enriched with lots of spices with chicken or meat or veg with butter addition. Machli(fish) Amritsar or famous spicy fish of Lahore is very famous all around , normally people in take in winters but nowadays few dishes of fishes are renowned all over the seasons. Langar in Punjab is food of piety for needy ones given by people who can afford or whom Allah has bestowed upon for kind deeds. Most of people in Punjab believe in it. Staple food is sarsoun ka saagh and maki ki roti which is very famous. Generation which was born before 1947,the time when Pakistan came into being believed in staple food more even now people are returning to their basics.It is believed eating with hands nourishes mind, people love to eat with hands in rural sides, in cities also rice is eaten by hands - depending upon person to person…though it looks uncultural still its significance can’t be ignored. Food becomes of spirit as well mind’s with hands in take. Punjab is divided into subcontinent ,its one part is in india, other in Pakistan, in india- sikh tribe follow Punjabi food and culture.

Other province is Sindh whose famous city is Karachi. There famous dishes are sai bhaji chawal,  a popular dish with ingredients of white steamed rice served with spinach curry with tarka of onions, tomatoes and garlic. koki also goes popular which is served with dal, sabzi or any curry or even plain with curd or tea. Sindh culture has vast roots in Indus Valley Civilization. Large deserts are located there. Foreign influences affect its climate as coastal side has trades and large variety of sea food is distributed from Karachi.

Balochistan is third province which is famous for tribes and vast lands. Quetta is famous city..kaak,saaji,khaddi kabab,abgoosht,balochi chicken karahi,landhi,pirki and balochi murgh leg biryani is famous there. Land is barren so are deserts and mountains. Its full of arts and crafts. Its famous for its festivals too.Every region has its own languages too.

Khyber pakhtunika means the Khyber land of Pashtuns or Pashto people or pathan in common language terms, the region is so named due to its ethnic values.This area coincides with Afghanistan so food is diversified same for both regions means afghans and Pashtuns eat almost same type of food. Haleem,chapli kababs,tika and mutton karahi are very famous.

The cuisnes like cereals , wheat, maize, barley and rice as well as a pelothora of meat dishes like lamb, beef, chicken and fresh fish are found.

Kashmiries dishes are like rogan e josh,modur pulav, matschgand, yoghrt lamb curry ,dum alouv, Kashmiri muji gaad, aab gosht and ghoshtaba.

The staple food of kashmiries is usually preferred being the dense ,slightly sticky grained Kashmir variety, which is awarded or prized in valley.al food can b e eaten with chapaties or naan.

AS, Pakistan is further diversified from islambadians who are living in capital of Pakistan Islambad .islambad has merged with franchses similarly like other big cities like Lahore Karachi,quetta faislabad and many more…online food is also available through some food chain website which is serving 28 cities in Pakistan,its huge change and big step .

As world is becoming global village , the food from al over the world is liked and taken in and delivered at home and resturants which are prepared at home and other hotels or resturants.

Mainly , our national vegetable is okra,national fuit is mango which is very delicious treat for Pakistanies in summer season,if u go outside country u can find mango but not very tasty.But here mangoes are delicious.So, nihari is considered as national dish which is mostly prepared from big bones of cow leg.and mostly preprared in Punjab region.

Briyani is nowadays very famous all over the world, whose basics are from india but now a certain people love it more occasionally and regionally.Pilaf or pulaou is prepared in ghosht(meat) broth and special spices are used, is also loved In region as whole.

 

If Foreign visits country, one must put his fingers in food to taste all and shiver. That’s our basic entertainment beside country side views or sceneries. Few people believe we are alive due to possessive food side(joke apart!!) that also gives sense of a wide variety of delicious food. Pakistani people are muslims and muslims don’t eat pork due to its bad fatty acids which are not allowed in our holly book but non muslims who visit here, they also find pork in hotels which are just prepared for them. As, a whole Pakistan is full of food and festivities and colour and variety of food available for food lovers.
