Earlier yesterday I had an amazing chat with my sister on relationship, life and mastery of people. We spoke about how rich people approach life and how the poor think.
It was really an interesting and educational chat because i learnt a lot from her and she learnt a lot from me as well. this in its entirety is a very good way to learn. i will term it "learning by interaction".
i believe that if lecturers/teachers in high school and colleges interact with individual students in the classroom/lecture halls, then it will go a long way in promoting impactful learning and consequently high academic performance of the students. Well that's by the way.
In summary, my sister and I laid out some food for thoughts and i will like to lay it out here as well. In no definite order, they are as follows;
1.) Why spend time on things you can designate simply because you don't want to pay for it.
Don't you want someone to feed. For example why should I spend hours washing my car when I can pay someone to do it for me while I use that time for something else.
2.) Why should your wife be the one to do all the house chores
You live in a big house and yet you expect your wife to do the mopping of floors, laundry, bathing the children (if there is any), mowing the lawn etc because you are the man of the house.
She can as well use that time to do something more productive. If you can't employ someone to do these chores, then join her to do it.
3.) Why will you say you can't marry a man who isn't rich when you are so broke.
A broke girl like you looking for a rich guy. You also need to go out there hustle like everyone else. No sane man wants a liability or gold digger.
You say you can't marry a man who doesn't have a car like your dad but you didn't bother to find out if your dad had a car when she got married to your dad
4.) Why should you treat your domestic staffs like puppies.
They are human beings too. Even hoodlums can be a good asset to you if you learn to be kind to them and inspire them in the best way possible.
5.) Why won't you allow your wife to earn money.
You converted her to full time house wife yet when she asks for money you nag bitterly. The both of you should grow financially. By far, it isn't good for the man to handle the financial responsibilities alone.
6.) Why give birth to a child you have no intention of taking care of
Sometimes when i walk through the streets, i see homeless children. Some of these kids run up to me and ask for money to feed, i usually give them and afterwards this make me to weep within.
Majority of these children are abandoned by their fathers or mothers or both after their birth or at a later time.
This is just so unfair. Painfully, these children mostly resort to crime when they go into despair and what is the resultant effect of that on the the society? well, you know the answer to that.
I hope you learnt something from these few food for thoughts. Please reflect on them.
