DATA COLLECTION AND DATA ANALYSIS This chapter deals with the collection and analysis of data. The purpose of the study was to highlight the role of motivation in learning English Primary. The researcher gathered data from two schools. Fifty students were selected as a sample. Fifty students were taken from GPS Mehboob Nagar school and remaining fifty students were selected as a sample from a GPS Ghazi khel. To check the motivation level of students, a questionnaire was developed which comprised of 20 questions. The questionnaire was designed on likert scale of Gardner with a difference that Gardner likert scale has 7 points whereas the researcher utilized 5 points to analyze the motivation level and attitude of students. Consents were sought from both heads of the institutions. Pretest was administered to all the participants of study. The researcher Prepared many lessons and delivered them to the participants by using an innovative method of teaching named Suggestopedia in order to enhance the motivation of the students. After the teachings of a period of one month, a Post test was arranged to observe the motivation and to check the difference and development of students’ attitude to learning English. The data was analyzed by a software SPSS i.e; Statistical Package for Social Sciences. The data was analyzed through test cross tabulation and gender cross tabulation.
