The unique sandstone rock formation in the United States

The formation of this wave on the Arizona-Utah border began 190 million years ago during the Jurassic period, when desert mounds were naturally turning into sandstone rock. These strange and unique colored layers were created naturally by slow winds, rain and sandstorms.
