Hello Everyone..!!
How are you all..??
The tree is our best friend. We survive by taking in oxygen made from plants. The beauty of flowers makes the mind happy. Fruits provide nutrition to people. The tree gives us shade. The useless tree also benefits people as fuel. Trees and their fruits are used as various components of industry. Despite the immense importance of trees, the condition of our forests today is depressing. The famous Sundarbans is our pride. But now the beauty of the Sundarbans is gone. Bhawal's Shal-Gazari forest is on the verge of destruction. The condition of the forests of Madhupur and Sylhet is also not good. The condition of forests in the hilly districts is not unknown to anyone. As a result of deforestation, landslides and river erosion are constantly happening, houses are being destroyed and people are losing their lives. In this way, Bangladesh has lost its traditional form.
In order to save the lives of millions of Rohingyas in Myanmar's Rakhine state, they have taken refuge in Bangladesh, entered the hilly forests, cleared the forests and built houses. The amount of deforestation they are doing for fuel and livelihood is unimaginable. So the condition of the hilly forest of Chittagong is also miserable. Climate experts say it is important for a country to have a quarter of its forest area to maintain its natural balance. We have only 12-15 percent forest land. In the current reality, its amount is also decreasing. Due to this various natural calamities are our constant companions. Now the matter needs to be seriously considered. Otherwise, natural disasters may increase in the country at some point, which is a huge threat to our national life
Islam attaches great importance to tree planting to protect the environment:
The role of plants in maintaining the natural balance is immense. Just as plants and forests provide us with oxygen, they also protect the environment from natural disasters.
It is impossible for humans and other animals to survive without plants and forests. If there is not enough vegetation and forest, the environment will be warm, the earth will be desert-dusty. This will endanger the environment. People will fall into a catastrophe.
According to environmental scientists, 25 percent of a country's total forest area is needed to maintain the balance of the environment. However, the total forest area of Bangladesh is 16.4 percent. The forest cover is very small compared to the heavy population of this country. The size of the forest is decreasing day by day. The natural balance is being destroyed indiscriminately by cutting something scattered in different parts of the country. Forests are being destroyed to meet the growing demand for human wood and fuel wood. Forests are also being destroyed as a result of increasing demand for urbanization and urbanization. Animals and wildlife are becoming extinct. The country and the people of the country are under threat. Forests are being destroyed not only in Bangladesh but also in the world.
So now we have to take initiative to take more than 25 percent of the total forest area of Bangladesh by planting more trees.
Islam has called for tree planting to maintain the balance of the environment. Even tree planting has been termed as a reward for charity. After the planting of the tree, as long as people and animals enjoy the fruits obtained from the tree and get shade, the reward of charity will continue to be written in the record of the planter.
According to the hadith of Sahih Bukhari, Hazrat Rasulullah (peace be upon him) said, "If a person plants a tree or produces a crop and eats people and animals from it, then it will be considered as a reward in the record of the producer."
God sends moderate rainfall to the earth for human survival, to balance the environment and to produce crops. So that the soil is juicy and the plants and youth are refreshed, produce flowers and fruits and provide shade and enliven the environment. Allaah says in the Qur’aan, ‘With this water We produce for you crops, olives, dates, grapes and all kinds of fruits. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought. '- Surah Nahl: 11
Elsewhere in the Qur’an, Karim says, ‘Do they not see that I cause water to flow in barren lands and produce crops from which their animals and they eat? Do they not see? '-Surah Sajdah: 26
By all these verses it is understood that Allah refreshes the balance of the environment with various elements. So it is the responsibility of all of us to protect and nurture it.
Another hadith of Hazrat Rasoolullah (peace be upon him) shows the importance of planting trees to protect the environment. Explaining the importance of planting a tree, he said, "If you know for sure that the Hour has come and the tree is in hand at that moment and it is possible to plant it, then you will plant it."
It is understood from the verses and hadiths of the Qur'an that Islam has given great importance to the planting of trees to protect the environment. In the hadith, the Prophet (peace be upon him) also forbade tearing the leaves of any tree unnecessarily.
Well written dear friend has presented a wonderful subject in fact the trees are our friends
