Most anime enthusiasts already know who Makoto Shinkai is. For those who didn't, I will entroduce who this person is.

Makoto Shinkai is the director for many great anime including "Your Name", " Garden of Words" And his latest movie "Weathering with You". Many of the anime fans look up to him even his fellow directors. So if the genius anime director commended your work, who wouldn't be happy?

One example of this is Mari Okada's film "Maquia - When the Promised Flower Blooms".

This movie is truly fascinating that even Shinkai give his praise to. The story is all about an immortal girl and a normal boy meet each other, sharing bonds and living their life to the fullest. The other aspect of this anime that caught Shinkai's attention is the gorgeous animation art of this film.

This film is so great but sad to say it's underrated. So if you are looking for anime to watch, you should check this film out.
