Normally the only known way to do something from the browser with crypto is by using metamask... However this could change. Someone is building an alternative called Tally. However I kinda question the chosen architecture. I don't think redux is the right way to go. Modifying state with redux could go extremely wrong is not done properly. Also they are using webpack as the bundler for all the JS code. I would suggest to go with rollup... But... Finally ReactJS on the frontend. I guess that is ok but, as a dev looking and striving for performance I would potentially suggest to go with Svelte so you don't have to rely on virtual Dom and such which could end in runtime issues. The good choice would be to use Typescript for making sure that everything is completely right and fully unit tested ( static, integration and end to end). 3 days to mitigate 30+ issues on a design on a website for a client. Checked on all different breakpoints and type of devices. It's not hard if you where everything is and how everything works and is interconnected but it's a tedious process. And days were going by very slowly... In the end the client is happy, so I can't say much. Hopefully I will have a little bit of free time in the few days so I can come back to make some noise. #randomthoughts #web3 #crypto

I was one of the few that received the "bug" on GoodDollar. But it seemed that mine was activated twice? In any case, I refunded the extra claim. Why? Because it's the right thing to do!! Sure, my amount of good dollars went from $31.5 down to $0.125 and yes I will have to deal with taxes associated with that transaction but in the overall scheme of things and bigger picture it is something that will benefit the community and not only myself. And I don't mind! This project is legit, the end goal is clear and to me it makes total sense. I wish more people/companies sponsoring this project but if not it's ok. So yeah... There you go! Well I finished chapter 1 and 2 from the Haskell tutorial/book Learn you a Haskell for Great Good and so far it all makes sense. Technically chapter one is a sort of introduction and chapter two is more about how to set up environment and explaining variables and some structures you can use in the programming language. This is the first step to understand properly Haskell, so then I can use it in Plutus and develop things in Cardano. So I just figured something out from Nexo. Is not bad but I would have been great if they thought of this. Technically you can create fixed terms and get some extra 1% in interest on your crypto (not on stablecoins). By default those fixed terms are set to be autorenewables and this is the problem. All the interest you get, are not being taking into account on the next fixed term. So each month you are using the same amount. Therefore, I you want to make sure that every month or so you get that extra interest you need to renew the fix terms manually. Many of you may know already BUT for those who don't... Coinbase is going to shutdown Coinbase pro by the end of the year. This is in the attempt to consolidate all the features in one site/app. User will have access to pro features through the advance trading feature in Coinbase. Bitcoin seems to keep doing its own thing. From what I can see this seems like an ascending triangle pattern, which technically is a bullish scenario (meaning should towards the upside). We see lower lows and some resistance towards $21.7k. I guess we should watch for: 1/ volume spike 2/ two closes beyond the resistance Before we can even say that it broke the resistance. Some people tend to say that we need to confirm 4 times before we can say it broke. Maybe just as a precaution which is not too bad. Cardano started to pump maybe just as the news for the stake pools upgrade went into twitter. Currently Cardano is creating new higher lows so is not a bad thing. It seems that the whole thing trends to $0.51~$0.53. I will be cautious then. I still think we can see ADA go higher (as it usually happens before all the hard forks) Also it seems that we are on accumulation mode as there has been some distribution but not really a significant one... Ay ay ay! Bch is crashing down to the support level around $100-110. I didn't make any moves as I was looking at the BTC chart waiting for a break towards the upside. And you know, when BTC pumps, most of the times alts pump right after. But still nothing! I was expecting BTC to break towards the 22-23k before going back down toward 18k and... nothing... Well Cardano's Vasil hard fork is going to be delayed for a month. And it's not a bad thing if you think about it. Just recently we have been witnesses of the Terra/Luna fiasco and fairly recently of the Solana liquidity drama with solend. Now, more than ever we need to be very cautious and not repeat the same mistakes others made before. So, because this hard fork is a dApp focused one (increasing the TPS is one of the features), developers asked for some time to play around with the features on the testnet. Therefore they got 4 weeks! Hopefully that gives us a little bit more time to get some Cardano bags before the usual pumps before the hard forks #cardano #ada #cryptocurrency #cryptotrading

I follow Jason on twitter. The main reason is because his points of view are pretty solid when it comes to crypto. Recently he twitter that he is having a hunch that some peop are coordinating pumps and dumps in the market to displace or get rid of competitors/project. To me, thats not a hunch. It's a fact! It's like high-school all over again. If you think about it we have the different groups of kids: the rich kids, the cool guys, the nerds, the quiet ones, etc. And of course heaps of drama sprinkled on top. Someone trying to steal someone else's thunder... Instead of collaborating and making something great with the technology we have at hand, we tends to try to obliterate others based on fear and greed... Bitcoin is below the $22k. This is a huge dump since it's ATH. But not only BTC is bleeding. Many others too!! Let's have a look - BTC since ATH 63% down - ETH since ATH 74% down - ADA since ATH 82% down - SOL since ATH 86% down - BCH since ATH 86-87% down And yet, it could still go lower. I think this time is critical to plan. We are way down into the dips. Whenever this situation stabilises, we will see some uptrends but I think people will short as much as they can. So be careful. I will use this time to learn and prepare for the next cycle. I don't mind when it will happen, I will check my plan and work accordingly. This is the time where people will need to build their plans so they can enjoy in the future. For me at the moment is just hitting 1 BCH. Yes, as simple as that. I am not in a rush. So 1 BCH, then once I hit that milestone or whenever I am really close to it, I will start planing my next goal. And the reason for 1 BCH, is because of Noise cash. The situation with the crypto markets, crypto exchanges and lending platforms is becoming very very unstable. I just received an email from Celsius regarding their intention to stop swaps and withdrawals because of the unstability. FUD is all around us and I think we are seeing people jumpling from one side and the other from BTC to Alts and the other way around. Probably, as the markets continues to go further down, we will see some stability when we reach the bottom. I think we are on a spot trading territory now, where everyone is either tradings ups and downs, or trying to get out (loosing then all their money). I think people that leave their emotions aside and understand that whenever there is some sort of bottom that's a good time to invest, or instead of checking all time highs/lows they check for how much they got in profit/loss will be ahead of everyone else when we go to the next Bullrun... Some Technical Analysis (TA) on Cardano. In the short term we see that it's going down towards the $0.62 range hopefully before going pumping up to $0.75-$0.8. The reason behind it is that whenever there is a hardfork event, ADA price always tends to go up. So if everything follows the same pattern, we could see those prices. In the long term I am still expecting Cardano to fall into the $0.3-$0.25 range to start to DCA again maybe around August. I guess everything depends on BTC prices. One thing I Just noticed in the Bitcoin.com wallet app is that when you check/view the markets you get some analysis data for free with some prediction levels ( not sure if this is accurate or not).
