never give up
we often listen that "never give up" but the realization of this quote is at that time when a person struggle to achieve something in their life. Courage and patience are two characteristics of those people who struggle to achieve goal in their life. Today I want to write something related to my past. From which the quote never give up I tried it in real life have seen. As NELSON MANDELA once said: "A winner is a dreamer who never gives up"
VILLAGE EDUCATION: My childhood was spent in village. I started my primary education at the village from primary school. The school had only two teachers. The number of children shall not exceed fifty. The quality of education was very poor. The books which were taught to the children was only URDU because the teachers were only knew about Urdu subject. I also knew only about Urdu, how to read and write Urdu. In other books(science subjects) we saw only pictures. The good thing of this school was that nobody were failed in this school of the village, the student got the first position for doing good reading of Urdu only in this way you can imagin about the quality of education in this school that was strange.
MIGRATION: Education in the village could be obtained only up to the fifth class there was no way to read further. That's why I have to migrate from village with my family. My father was a government servant in city. Although we moved to the city. I was very happy for study in city. In the beginning we don't like it. People seemed strangers. In the village we were used to travelling and having fun. But with the passage of time we managed it. ADMISSION IN SCHOOL:
I dropped out of fourth grade school in my village. Now I had to enroll in the fifth grade in the city. I must pass a test to be admitted to a city government school. I was tested for fourth grade. I were seated with the other children in a large room which they called hall. The exam was 20 marks. Some of the questions were related to URDU,ENGLISH and MATHEMATICS.I didnot understand anything in this test. Because I knew only reading of urdu. I were sweating. But in spite of this I didnot give up, I used my best abilities and solved two question of mathematics. After a while, the paper was taken from me. I was told that you would come here after two days to see your result. So dad went to receive my result two days later, he was surprised that I only got four marks. I got two marks to solve addition and got two marks from subtraction. I were failed badly in my test. I was not be able to get admission in school. After much pleading, the school principal took pity on me and allowed me to study but the condition for study was that I should be admitted in second class instead of fifth class. I agreed to this condition. I were sad to lost my academic years but I had heard that never give up.
THE ATTITUDE OF THE TEACHERS:
I was allowed to study in the second class. But every teacher who saw me was surprised and said that you are not qualified to study in the second class. No teacher was willing to put me in their class. Because I was older than the other kids and in height. The teacher started arguing with each other. But one teacher said that I would allow this child to study in my class. They put me in their class 2 C.
JOURNEY FROM SECOND POSITION TO SCHOLARSHIP :
I started working hard under the supervision of my compassionate teacher. I could not even speak Urdu properly which was the national language of our country. There were many difficulties. I used to cry because I was fed up with my worries. But I heard that never give up. As a result of my hard work, my first position came in the first year. I can't express my happiness in my own words. When I first went on stage to collect the prize, I was overjoyed. After three years, he was nominated for the scholarship examination in the fifth class. I worked day and night to win the scholarship exam and finally with the help of my ALLAH I passed the exam with first position. I got a scholarship of eight thousand rupees monthly. that day I was proud of myself that a boy from a village could do anything to change his life if he could get a scholarship. Now the teachers who were not allowing me to sit in their class were also ashamed of their mistake. I wish we could allow this child to sit in our class because teachers were rewarded along with the children who received scholarships.
