The horrible deaths of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ. A detailed account horrible deaths of our christian fathers and disciples in the bible. Back then, being a christian or believer after the death and resurrection of Jesus was not really a fun experience but actually a risky one. You get to face so many persecutions on a daily basis that might eventually land you in your early grave, but in the end of the ordeal it is worth it as compared to the glory that awaits you. So many oppositions and political acrimony attached to being a follower and believer of the resurrection of christ was so prevalent, thank God for the present day civilisation that has abated senseless killings (although not totally) and also for his grace and strength on the missionaries who tirelessly helped spread the gospel far and wide. Now read on to know more about the gruesome endings of these great disciples of christ. I call them "Our father's in christianity"

Was the only apostle who miraculously escaped execution. He was to be boiled in hot oil as seen in the picture below, but somehow didn't die due to divine intervention. So he was banished and later returned to Ephesus, after writing the book of revelation on an island he died a natural death (old age) in 98 AD.

12) Judas the Iscariot
Having realized his mistakes by betraying Jesus, Judas committed suicide. He hanged himself to death. Unlike other apostles, Judas' death was officially recorded in the bible.
13) Paul
Although he wasn't an official disciple but he was considered to be one having analysing his great works and efforts in spreading the gospel to various parts of the world. He was more educated than the others and so was effective in spreading the gospel.
Paul was beheaded by emperor Nero around 68 AD
Being a Christian in particular isn't easy, but the glory that awaits our honest work in the life is nothing compared to the suffering that we are to endure here on earth. So keep pushing and be strong, God's grace is on all of us irrespective of tribe, race and even religion.
Wow. Jesus as die for my sins, am save by giving life to him. He always be guildian and my keeper
