Don't hide behind your fears.
Fear is something that people did not ask for. You'll just realize that one day you have a fear of something when it is right in front of you. So don't laugh when you see someone being afraid of something you consider not frightening at all.
I've seen people who are afraid of the dark, afraid of heights, afraid of spiders, afraid of dogs, afraid of the rain, afraid of thunder, afraid of fire, afraid of water, and others.
I've also seen people who were afraid of being alone, afraid of being in a crowd, afraid of getting hurt, afraid of dying, afraid of death, afraid of losing their loved ones, and even afraid of their own shadows, the horrors of their past.
What are the benefits of facing your own fears?
When you face your anxieties, you will reap a slew of rewards. Self-confidence is one of the most essential benefits. Many people believe that fear can be conquered and that dread may be eliminated from one's life. I don't think this is absolutely true. As soon as it detects a lack of safety, a fear may emerge, so one must take the necessary steps to ensure their own safety on all levels:
psychological, physical, emotional, and spiritual. I believe that fear is a natural part of life and that it is important to learn how to deal with it in a healthy way.
The ability to do everything you put your mind to comes from facing and overcoming your fears. I believe that we are all born with a certain amount of fear, but we can learn to overcome it. This increases self-confidence and tells you that you're capable of doing everything you put your mind to. It also teaches you how to deal with worry and stress. Face your anxieties and learn how to deal with the tension and anxiety they bring.
With practice, you learn to better regulate yourself and your thoughts. You come to realize that everything is possible if you put your mind to it. You learn to control your thoughts and emotions. You learn to let go of your anxieties, fears, and worries and learn to live in the present moment. You learn how to be happy and content with yourself and your life.
The terror that is inside each of us is...
The terror that is inside each of us may take on many different types and patterns. The ideal form is one that makes us realize how little ability we really have to deal with the scenario we're in. The terror that we feel when we realize that we have no control over our lives is the terror that we must deal with.
We must embrace fear as a gift that helps us realize the strength and potential we need to possess. We must embrace the fear that comes with the realization that we are not in full control of our lives. We must realize that we are in control of how we respond to that fear. In this moment, we need more power, and fear is a signal that we aren't ready, in my opinion. In a nutshell, fear warns us that we are unprepared, so we must first prepare. Then, and only then, will we be ready to take action.
We must confront our anxieties in order to avoid dwelling on them. One must face one's fears and anxieties if one is to really understand and appreciate life. We have a natural aversion to the unknown. Uncertainty causes one to be uncomfortable or even afraid about the future.
The genuine spirit of a warrior within us is not to flee, but to remain there and battle against our anxieties. With the help of hard effort and talking to others—as one does when angry or depressed—we may win them over. The warrior spirit is not a matter of will, but a matter of attitude. It is not a question of whether we will fight, but of how we will fight.
Why? Because life is short and spending it in fear isn't the best way to get through it. But one way to make progress in life's greatest test is to push ahead and win.
Fears are part of our lives. Your lucky if you do not have fears (yet). But regardless of what it is, overcoming it is such a great feeling.
