Back with another informative stuff specially for beginners obviously many peoples still have many confusions and many people's will be seeking to get into SmartBCH sooner or later

So today I'll share few things which is necessary to keep in mind when you're done setting up SmartBCH in your mobile or PC.

BTW from PC or mobile I've a question which one do you prefer to use?

I was using on mobile but now it's dead so it's not working properly on my old mobile obviously not good specs so thinking of moving to laptop but is it safe to shift there I'm quite confused.

Anyways I'll find out by trying it and now let's move towards those things.

Things to keep in mind once SmartBCH is setup

Setting SmartBCH isn't a complicated you can do it manually or automatically by going through marketcap.cash or hop.cash and sooner or later i think entering into dapp of SmartBCH will ask to setup SmartBCH if a person isn't into it.

Well once you've set SmartBCH than these are few things to keep in mind

  • The native token on this network is BCH. It is the token used for gas fee.

  • Sending assets directly from one network to other may result in permanent assets loss

  • Tokens may not automatically show up in wallet

Only these few things are important to keep in mind and when i was newbie i gone through same questions and confusions but not anymore from now

Though metamask now always remind this whenever a person enter to SmartBCH but I'm sure 90℅ peoples ignore and I'll share why keeping this in mind is important.

Well it's good to see metamask making ease for peoples to get into SmartBCH without any confusion or misunderstanding.

The native token on SmartBCH is BCH

I saw many people's confused and saying SmartBCH is a different coin but they don't know SmartBCH is just a name of BCH side chain for deFi

And BCH is the only native token on SmartBCH which is used for the gas fee.

Like on polygon, matic is the token used for gas fee and ETH on ETH same on SmartBCH BCH is the native token and it is used as a gas fee while interacting with the chain.

No matter we're buying any other sep20 token or selling it will ask for a gas fee which will be need to pay in BCH and fee cost is way cheaper than other chains

Like it will not cost higher than $0.01 in gas fee and gwei should be fixed 1.05.

Never send assets directly from other chains

I've seen peoples sending assets directly into chain not only SmartBCH but it's a normal thing always happen with someone don't know much about side chain (deFi) side or centralised exchange

It's way different than sending BCH from coinflex to binance coz these are two centralized chain while metamask is decentralised wallet and have different networks or chain's

So for instance you're trying to send matic from polygon to SmartBCH than you'll lose your assets if it's being sent directly without bridge

And same in case if you send BCH from binance to metamask directly you'll lose your assets.

What's the right way to get assets in SmartBCH?

The right way to take native token BCH into SmartBCH chain is to bridge it and we need bridge for this purpose

I.e sides shift bridge is popular and allow to bridge BCH or different assets to SmartBCH easily

Than bridges like hop.cash and mistswap.fi cross chain bridge allow people's to move asset's easily without losing it.

Tokens may not show up automatically in wallet

Tokens won't show itself in wallet unless you had a Contract address of token and import it manually

It will show only BCH coz it's native token and you can see import token this is what we need to add more tokens

And there's also another way to do it which is fast and easy

Just visit marketcap.cash and do this, marketcap.cash should be open on metamask if it's mobile otherwise on pc it doesn't matter.

Fin.

Well that's it, these were the few things confusing for me when i firstly interacted with metamask on SmartBCH and peoples coming from other chains should know this already it's for completely beginners like i was.

Anyways now I'm on laptop and have some reasons why i was not on laptop before so next time will talk about that

For now let me know if you've any questions and whenever a newbie ask these questions so you've now answer to provide the needy one.

I'm still configuring networks on laptop so have to do it before sleeping.

Also I'm away from market these past two days I've not looked much and won't look till next few months I'm now fully ready for long term hold in sep20 tokens while staking or farming and minting more NTFS it's too much fun being in SmartBCH.

And still trying to move on and forget about what happened recently also playing pegaxy again all possible coz of PVM and looking for some other stuff as well to divert my mind and focus on better things.
