Since i was a child always heard this land belongs to that person and since beginning I've been seeing peoples investing in a land for a long term investment. Now mature enough to realise why it has much value that everyone must invest their money to buy a part of land.

No matter where you're living at it ain't possible that you didn't heard about buying land by your parents or relatives way back and now they're rich

It's not possible there's no one can relate with this, your grandfather or mother may told you stories about how they become rich investing in land and holding it till years or also maybe where your house is located on same land bought by your grandparents or parents when you was not even born yet

So isn't they invested their money to secure your future obviously your grandparents bought land to secure their kids and your parents bought to secure your future or might be possible it is belong to you from so long hope you understand my actual point

Confused why buying a land isn't safe investment anymore?

There's a whole story behind this to find out why I'm saying this keep reading till end.

I was planning to invest in land

No matter in which era we are living in, we know metaverse, web 3.0 virtual world and technology is more valuable investment at the moment but still investing in land will never be a wrong decision

As far i grow up being enough mature understanding it's value i thought why not keep a mind to invest and buy land in coming years.

Actually back year i asked myself in next 5 years i should have bought my own land to make a house on it but for long term investment so i was planning and was more interested into it.

All i need was to save some money by doing some hard work actually not through crypto but by doing job so my mind isn't changed yet but there's some reasons or fears in my mind.

Building a house on land bought back is cheaper

Since i was a child there was a thought like building a house on land is more expensive and buying a house already built is more cheap

But now I'm not misguided like before found my answer through an article it was cleared why it's cheap to build a house on land instead of buying a house

First we bought land like now I'm 19 so I invested in a land now when I'll be 30 year old that time building house on land i bought at 19 will be much cheaper for me instead of buying a house when I'm 30 not only this also because of material and budget is in our land we can build house on cheap.

My mother bought land when i was 5

This is the reason and complete story why I'm scared to invest in land at the moment. When i was only 5year old 14 years back my mother decided to buy a land

I don't know if she sold her jewelry that time or from savings but i was with her when she went to a property dealer actually he was very known person and trustable also relatives knows him very well.

That time she bought a land investing 4lac PKR~2200USD at the moment and bought 2720 square feet area of land.

Now her intentions was not to build house or no plan of selling actually it was for future purpose like we her son who's me will built house when it will be more valueable

So she waited more than 15years and now she didn't even expected what is going to happen and a dark side of our country.

Land bought back 15 years now worth 3x but why?

She got a phone call from one of person who bought land at that same place what she told was unbelievable, according to that person where our property was located it is now under to a society

Now my mom got shock and was angry because when she bought land that person guaranteed there's no need to be worried about and in future he is responsible if anything happens

I hope you all know what society means in my country two things i hate most is army and societies everywhere in country these are the only two things in every single place.

Actually these societies are run by mafias and they steal land or properties from peoples who bought. Now my mom have every proof of that land belongs to her but still that mafia (society) already working and stealing other peoples right.

Now my mom contacted the dealer and he told her to sell this land for 14lac pkr~7947usd current value and this offer after 15 years. My mom was like are you kidding or for real? Because I won't sell a Square feet area for this amount.

This is how mafias work in our country

Mom already got screwed up and even a 10 y/o kid won't be agree to sell this cheap after such a long time so she went there person to person and now when she asked him to visit place where land is situated together to check what's going on

When they reached there it was a big sign of that society and a gate restricting real owner of land to build a society for elite class peoples or for army whatever.

Now dealer give two options to her

• Sell 2720 square feet area of land for 7947$

• Build a house whenever you want ( not responsible if society take actions and ruin your place anytime)

• Speak against and get killed

Living in a country where you can lose your land within a second

Believe me literally I don't have any respect left for this country where you cannot own a land even you've property papers and you can't do anything.

From past 3-4 days i was home alone and reason behind this was is now cleared, still she's trying to handle it politely contacted some relatives etc and nothing is confirmed yet

So the land she bought 15years back thinking it's safe and good investment for future now when she was dreaming one day her son will built a house there but now she's stopped dreaming anymore

Not gonna leave place which belong to us but you know why she's hopeless? Because living in a country where there's no justice system poor will never get justice and rich peoples can buy judges so this is society a whole mafia

Also got to know that some of peoples already got killed because same thing happened with them and they was not ready to sell them at any cost.

Even though we know justice system is poor but won't give up in any case, she bought having some expectations which is easily ruined within seconds but will fight against them having all proofs so before going at that side still trying to normalise things.

This is the only reason I'm saying buying a land isn't safe investment anymore
