A girl wearing an old but decent fashioned dress had been walking on the road for a long time.
Probably heading towards an office for a job in utter destitution. On entering the office, she saw
different people from different backgrounds come here for the job interview. At first, she lost her
confidence but pulling together her inner force and need for job, she asked the receptionist
about the interview,
"Ma'am when it's my turn?"
The receptionist replied,
"Ma'am wait please, boss is in meeting."
She sat on the chair that was fixed in the lobby waiting for what the future would bring for her.
After two hours, an announcement was made.
"Dear candidates, we are really sorry but the eligible candidate has been selected. You may go
now. Thank you."
She was really disappointed with a slight tear in her eye that began to come out but she cleared
the moisture by the corner of her scarf. She moved on her journey towards her home but in real
disappointment.
Knocking at the door of her house, she heard the loud voices raising from her house. Her
mother came and opened the door but the tension was vivid from her face. She was weeping
inside but didn't say anything to her. As she was in the room, she found her aunt there, insulting
her family for not being able to pay back the amount that they borrowed three months ago. She
said with a expected chance of kindness,
" I am searching for a job. I will surely be able to find a handsome job sooner and pay you back
the amount at first."
But before she completed, the lady shouted and said,
"Don't make lame excuses. You would not be able to pay my amount, not even in years. Do you
think that within a month you will find a job with this appearance and this," pointed toward a lean
paralyzed girl on the bed, " this girl who won't be able to walk will get well soon. You are an idiot
and poor but I am not. So I will not be in your trap of getting pity. Hurry up, give my money
back."
She replied,
"I promise I will return it back in a month. Kindly help us."
The lady said, "Ok but you have only 30 days."
The lady went but all were including her mother and paralyzed little sister, tensed and worried
about their upcoming days.
