Even though the Bible was written centuries ago, its counsel is still useful today. Time has changed a lot, but human nature has not. People continue to face the same problems as their predecessors, except today these problems are much more serious and far-reaching. The World Book Encyclopedia states: "Despite advances in science and technology, man has not solved human problems." The only reliable solution for them is in the Bible. "Who is wise? He will keep these things and pay attention to Jehovah's loving acts."

A simplified life, something desirable

The simplicity of life is what God recommends. "He said to you, O earthly man, which is good. And what does Jehovah ask of you if you are not righteous, love kindness, and walk humbly with your God? If a person lives as they were raised to live according to these practical guidelines, they can be relatively happy, even in this evil system. If you go beyond these basic recommendations, many things can complicate your lifestyle that are truly unnecessary and insignificant. These do not work.

High debts, the desire for worthless things, competition for prestige or position, the struggle for social status, the attempt to live up to moral norms that violate the conscience - all this contributes to a "mixed" society, tormented bad luck, frustration. , conflict and even suicide. Many seek the help of a doctor or psychiatrist and use medication to relieve tension and give advice that often makes things worse.

If there were no more evidence of its authenticity and practical function, only the Bible's righteous principles and moral standards would mark it as a product of the Divine Spirit. Its usefulness extends to all phases of daily life. No other book gives us such a rational idea of the origin of all things, especially the origin of humanity and the Creator's intention for the earth and man. Think about how effective your advice would be if applied.

Today there are great difficulties due to racism and nationalism. The Bible does not support such ideologies, but clearly states that God "created all nations with one man to live upon the whole earth." Realizing this fact would eliminate many serious problems.

Moral

The Bible calls sex without the benefit of marriage "fornication." The practical advice is to "escape from fornication" through "not fornication". . . he has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. The Bible also says that no one "guilty of adultery or homosexuality ... will possess the kingdom of God. And how much dishonor, hatred, and sickness can be eliminated by following this biblical counsel!"

Marriage and family life

In response to marriage counseling, God's Word recommends: "Women are subordinate to their husbands as Lord." "Men must love their wives as their bodies." "Children, obey your parents in union with the Lord, for it is just."

The importance of a united family can never be overemphasized. The Bible devotes much space to counseling on aspects of relationships between men and women, parenting and family discipline, and happiness.

Bad companies

Although bad tendencies in many cases originate in the family, there are obviously other factors that cause the spread of moral perversions. Reading pornographic literature is a form of mental association with the authors of these publications. In the same way, the real connection with other people of bad character pulls those who did not originally lean in this direction and leads them to the abyss of outbreaks. The Bible recommends reflecting on the right things and warns that "bad associations destroy useful habits." We can not avoid bad practices by making our "friends" those who practice bad practices and bad relationships. In very simple terms, the Bible says, "He who walks with the wise will be wise, but he who acts with the foolish will be hurt." Is not that good practical advice?

The business

The Bible also gives advice on business. The principle is: “Two types of weights and two types of ephas [one to buy and one to sell]; both hate Jehovah ”and“ Do not steal from the little one because he is humble. He also condemns the attitude of those who, because they do not want to work, carry the slogan "bathe the rich". The biblical principle is that impartiality should be exercised towards the rich and the poor: "You should not treat the humble with partiality and you should not prefer the person to the great".

The Bible's practical instruction on human relationships can be summed up in Jesus' words: “Whatever you want people to do to you, you must do to them too; This is really what the law and the prophets mean. If you followed this principle, imagine what it would mean to the world! How happy they would all be!

Essential Guide to Happiness

Of course, although many have the Bible and some have read it, most people have not used Bible counseling. Having this alone or even just one religion is not enough. Biblical principles must be used if a person is to be happy. And while some may be skeptical, even when we live in a corrupt system of things, Bible advice can be applied successfully. By doing this now, you can be assured of improving the quality of your life, as the scriptures say: "Divine devotion is beneficial to all things because it promises life now and what is to come." This is not just a theory, but a fact that accurately and convincingly shows a rich testimony of human life
