2022 but we still use man-pulled vehicles. I know, it sounds wired but this is the truth. Bangladesh is the country of rickshaws, every city has thousands of them. And millions of people survive by pulling rickshaws.

There can be a debate on if it should be abolished or not. From the government perspective, as long as we can't be trained/grow skilled labor, the job of rickshaw puller can't be abolished. Because it's their source of bread and butter.

Keeping aside the argument, the rickshaw is kind of our national ride. As a developing country, many can't afford their private vehicle. We use rickshaws for short distances. The ride may not seem very comfortable to you. But we are used to it.

Moreover, the art and paint behind the vehicle are amazing. It's our heritage and is recognized by many organizations as a form of traditional art.

I like how I can enjoy the open sky over my head, the wind, and sometimes the rain while riding a rickshaw. It's kinda fun.

Thanks for visiting my blog.
