Cryptocurrency and financial freedom. // Can we ever achieve that?

Financial freedom is a vast thing to discuss. We have long arguments about whether or not it's ever achievable or not. Some call it vague and not achievable.

I don't name it rather think it's a perspective.

To afford our desire is not a simple thing as long as we have unlimited needs. But if we draw a line, then we can easily say if we have achieved that freedom or not. To do that, we need that perspective and mindset to think that way, to draw that line.

But that's another thing to talk about.

Today, I was thinking if cryptocurrency can bring financial freedom.

I guess we can remember when people start to gain trust over BTC, we used to say, BTC can bring financial freedom. And not just that, there are thousands of altcoins, currencies, and whatnot. All this sure opened a new window of the economy.

Now the thing is, we need to approve that, for many, like millions, crypto sure gave a space to invest, to earn, save and have access to money that they never think about. It's like out of nowhere, or investing fiat is giving us a space to create more money.

So why not call it another form of freedom!

The risk of losing our fund, scam, risky investment everything is present here and will be. But that doesn't mean cryptocurrency didn't create the space to run a new economy. A powerful economy, maybe not mainstream but influential.

If I talk from my point of view, then sure, cryptocurrency has brought a kind of freedom, in one sense. I'm kind of 50/50 here. Because that freedom is not applied to all. In many countries cryptocurrency is not legal, in others, there's no space to transact. We still need many infrastructural level developments, legal issues to solve, mass adoption to reach a point when we can call it freedom.

While talking about this, one thing we can never ignore. And that is the risk of being anonymous when it comes to transactions. It creates a big hole and people use that black hole to invest in weapons, drugs, and whatnot.

So yes, not 100% freedom but we can reach that. If we think, if developers think these ways, then maybe someday, sure we can bring the kind of freedom we need.

Hi, this is my first post to read.cash. I'm still in the learning phase. Maybe I'm gonna share a detail introductory post about myself in a few days.

Thanks for reading my post
