Hello, hello Foodies!👩🍳
It's Tuesday, the week is going from strength to strength. Let's always put our best energies to produce!
For my recipe today, I want to present you some delicious Red Dot cookies!!! They are easy to make and kids love them, because of their rich flavor. The middle dot is made of guava jam. The guava harvest has been wonderful for me.
The cookie is semi-crispy, I love the flavor of the vanilla and the marked contrast it has with the jam. The original recipe for these cookies does not have liquid milk added, but I have added it because I like cookies with milk much better.
My kids have loved them, Danna would eat the moist jam center first and then devour the cookie in energetic bites. The surface touch of sugar gives it a close shiny touch, very nice and eye-catching, plus it collaborates with a crunchy surface layer mind sweet.!
Let's go step by step!

Ingredients:
📌 400 gr of wheat flour.
📌 1/2 glass of liquid milk.
📌 1 egg.
📌 3 tablespoons of butter.
📌 1 medium cup of sugar.
📌 Vanilla to taste.
📌 8 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
📌 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder.
📌 3 g of dry yeast.
📌 Guava jam.
preparation:
A.- In a bowl we put butter, vanilla and sugar. See figure 1. We mix and then add the oil. See figure 2. Add the milk and continue mixing. See figure 3. Next we add the yeast and the baking powder. See figure 4.
B.- We add the egg. See figure 5. Add the flour and knead on a comfortable table. See figures 6 and 7. When obtaining a well integrated dough, we stretch on the table. See figure 8.
C.- We cut with a round cutter. See figure 9. We will then have a cup with common sugar. See figure 10. We pass the upper part of the cookie through the sugar and soak it in it. See figure 11. We will arrange the cookies on a previously greased tray with a light layer of flour. See figure 12.
D.- With the help of a pastry bag, we make the dots in the middle of the cookies. See figure 13. We will take a preheated oven. There they will be baked for a space of 12 to 15 minutes, or until they have browned at the base. See figure 14.
Being ready, take a look:
They look great and taste great. I believe that the things you do with love and care are always delicious.
The base of the cookie has been golden brown, just as I like it. The sugar, on the surface side, gives it a shiny and cute touch.
To protect and keep fresh, I recommend that they do it in a tightly closed glass bowl. They will stay crisp and prevent chewy!
