You are not a Open Door

Stop giving all people a spare key to your life.

People find that their life does not belong to them because they are so many people involved in their life in the aspect of decision making, choices, lifestyle, and career. See, people can control you when you give them access.

The main way to have autonomy in ourselves is being independent, but being independent does not mean we should reject being taught. Being independent is gathering all the criticism and knowing how to identify which is constructive and destructive. Having autonomy is letting people teach you but does not let anyone take the place to decide which is better for you.

This is the main reason why we should be wise in spending our young age, we should not waste time on destroying ourselves but rather we should teach our self be teachable, and humble. Take all the education that you can because it will lead you to have a more rational mind in making decisions in life.

When you hit adulthood, it is a light-year different from your teenage life. You need to take accountability for your actions, you cannot depend on anyone to take your back. You should be able to know the exits of everything you are about to enter. Being an adult is a phase no one can skip or avoid, and the phasing of events are faster than how the light wave travels.

The way you spend your young age will have a great impact on how you will be as an adult. Mistakes don't define us but the damage of mistakes cannot be undone. Don't be reckless if you want to have autonomy in your life.

Freedom is a responsibility that we should take seriously.

Have your own key to your life, and have control over what people can only access. There is peace in privacy, so don't give people a spare key to your life if they don't deserve it.

I am writing this article to give young one's idea of how adulthood should be. That adulthood means being responsible, and I want them to learn that it is necessary for an adult to have control over his or her life. I want them to learn that in the real world, no one could really defend them but themselves.

Young ones should learn that it is very essential to get educated and listen to their parents. So that they can get and practice their skills. No one was really being ready to become an adult, the shifting of events will shock you. You will wake up one day realizing you have all these responsibilities on your shoulders. You cannot run away from this.

This is the reason why an adult should have autonomy.
