I think we can all agree that parents are God's greatest gift to us. It is up to us to look after them since they assist us at every stage of our lives. In an effort to make our parents happy, I'm sure that every son and daughter will go above and beyond. It might be difficult to keep up with our parents and all of our other responsibilities at the same time, but our parents' needs need a certain amount of dedicated attention in our lives and are considered a silent rule for being better sons or daughters.

Make an extra effort. Plan a party even if it is just a simple one to celebrate their birtdays or anniversary. They may invite their coworkers and acquaintances, as well as any close family members. Gifts may be given at any time of the year. Take special care of their personal items, such as their favorite perfume or purse collection. Make a mental note of the little things that they like and then present them with those specific items as a surprise. Because they deserve these things and doing an effort to these things would already mean a lot to them.

Spend time with them. Take a vacation with our family, see a movie, or eat out for supper or breakfast. Relax with them and enjoy each other's company. Spending time together as a family helps strengthen your relationship. Any phone call so long it is not important, as much as possible should not interfere with this. Time management is a crucial part of life and therefore, we should spend time with them doing some things or going somewhere because we can't predict what will happen in the future.

Be patient and calm. Everyone knows that getting older could mean doing different things. Sometimes, they tend to become moody and easily get irritated. Take everything in stride and don't become irritated or angry too. Let them have their say. When individuals believe they are being heard, they are more likely to open up and share their thoughts and feelings. Just explain your views clearly and rationally, and you'll be on your way to making a good impression. Always keep in mind that effective communication is the key to achieve a peaceful talk. You don't always have to be in the right place. Sometimes, lowering down your ego and pride even if they are the ones who are wrong, still choose to be obedient and be respectful because afterall, they are still our parents.

We must respect their choices. They will make some silly choices in order to keep up with the rest of the world. Do not shut them off in front of their eyes. Instead, provide them with a list of benefits and drawbacks and let them make up their own minds, unless they are putting themselves at risk. Persuade them to express themselves better.

Finally, let's make them feel important. Bring up any issues you're having with them and talk about it to adress them. Describe your current situation, whether it's a professional one or a personal one. Let them know what you're thinking. They'll get the impression that you're still interested in what they have to say and that you appreciate what they have to say. In this way, we could let them feel that they are important.

Again, the essentials of life are taught to us by our parents. They are a source of warmth and affection for everyone in the family. When we are young, we are fully reliant on our parents, but as soon as we are ready to make our own choices, most of us begin to disregard the fact that they even exist.

Many people don't appreciate the extent to which their lives have been sacrificed in order to make our lives more pleasant. We begin to treat them as if they aren't valuable resources, and we begin to disregard their recommendations and counsel. As we engage with them, we need to be more careful and help them in any difficult moment. Hence, I hope that this article have helped you realize the importance of being an obedient son or daughter. Thank you!
