I took my black cat "Lek" to the vet this morning since I had noticed his loss of food, lethargy, or lack of energy to play since Tuesday night. This morning, he began coughing, lost his voice, and developed a high fever. Lek was diagnosed with cat flu by the vet and was given appropriate medications. If the high fever persists, I may need to bring him back to the vet again. I hope he responds well to the medication and recovers quickly.

I like to use Moses in the Cradle, or Tradescantia spathacea, commonly known as the oyster plant, as a ground cover in my garden. Since early in the morning, I've been inspecting the plants and trees on my property. Some plants require more compost to help them absorb nutrients. My Monday was spent walking around my property with my team to check on the progress of the plants we have planted. Some locations require watering because they do not receive enough rainfall to support their survival and growth. I quickly strolled through my garden before dinner to enjoy the blooming of Thryallis Glauca, often known as Rain of Gold or Shower of Gold. I am overjoyed that Thryallis Glauca, which I only planted a year or so ago, has already begun to blossom.

I spent my Sunday afternoon to water all the flowers and plants I took from my mom's garden. One of the plants I brought back with me is Aglaonema Commutatum Pink. I already had other Aglaonema varieties in my garden, but for a very long time, I had my heart set on this pink type. Chinese Evergreen Plant is the common name for Aglaonema. How was your Sunday?

Yesterday, it took more than 10 hours to get from my parents' home to my home. To get up early and walk around my garden and the surrounding land to observe how my plants and trees grow makes me feel so tired, but also so joyful. The dragon fruit in my garden has begun to show signs of blooming. I hope the ants won't devour or destroy the dragon fruit flowering bud because the bud is highly alluring to a lot of ants.

It is wonderful because there is no rain along my route when I left my parents' house this morning at around 4:00 a.m. My three cats are all healthy and continue to enjoy their food and water without experiencing any stress from the trip. I started my Tuesday early in the morning to enjoy my mom's garden, as I would be returning home early tomorrow. It's fantastic that I started my day early so that I could enjoy the gorgeous full bloom of Dragon Fruit. Dragon Fruit is a night blooming flowering plant with blossoms that only survive one evening. My parents' mid-year health checkup went perfectly this morning. On Wednesday, I'll return home in the hopes of avoiding rain. After my parents and I got home and had lunch, I went to my mom's nursery to look for plants and flowers that I wanted to take home with me. My Sunday is bright and sunny, and the weather is scorching. But, because I'll be returning to my home next week, I'd like to make the most of my time with my parents. I'll probably return home next week after spending nearly six months with my parents. I need to embrace the fact that as we age, we become more vulnerable to health issues. My dentist appointment this morning went well, and the dentist placed a temporary filling in my tooth to evaluate how the root canal responds to treatment. It's another lazy Sunday, and I'm spending it surrounded by the plants and flowers on the balcony. Today's sun isn't scorching hot. My tooth filling broke and gave me a toothache as a result of it. After breakfast, I could only spend my morning in my mom's garden before the rain began to fall heavily. What caught my eye was the Indian Head Ginger blooming bud. Indian Head Ginger, or Costus speciosus, is another fantastic flowering plant to use in a shrub border, where the variegated foliage will contrast with the greens of the shrub border. I'm in such a good mood because of the rain that has fallen during the night for the past two days. My newly planted young plants have responded well to the rain, becoming more vibrant and ready to grow and take root in the ground.
