During the day, the temperature is incredibly high. After a quick walk through my mom's garden after lunch, the rain began to fall. Last Christmas, I planted Texas Sage at home before going to visit my parents, but I didn't get to see it bloom or flower. My mom's Texas Sage, on the other hand, is a fully established flowering shrub in her garden. Texas Sage is a gray shrub with densely stellate, silvery hairs on the leaves and vivid pink-lavender blooms that bloom individually in crowded leaf axils. Flowers are violet to purple, sometimes pink, and practically bell-shaped, with silvery gray to greenish leaves that are velvety to the touch. Because of its silvery gray foliage, Texas Sage is known as "Neon" in my country.
