After spending last Christmas with my dad and mom, I'll be returning to my home and property next month. While I am here, I have a lot of things I need to accomplish for them. During the rainy season, a cloudy sky with less sunshine is quite normal. With less sunlight, the algae bloom in my mom's water lily and lotus pond is a significant concern. A week ago, I cleaned and removed the dead leaves and debris from the pond that were blocking the sunlight, but the algae bloom has returned, as evidenced by the dark green water in the photo. In some senses, the algae bloom of dark green water provides a great background for the Pink Water Lily's beauty to shine. I wish you all have a wonderful Friday.
