This Sunday's weather is cloudy with a few rays of sunshine. I went to my mother's nursery to enjoy the plants and flowers. My mom's small Silver Cockscomb, which she planted in a plastic container pot, has begun to bloom. Silver Cockscomb has a bushy growth habit and flower spikes that bloom early. The plume-like inflorescences are particularly appealing, with purplish-pink inflorescences fading to pale pink, creating an interesting two-tone effect. How was your Sunday?
