What is the true test of happiness?
How can you truly say that one is happy? Is it by the smile he/she wears on his face? The way he/she goes about his day relating with others?
The true test of happiness can only be derived from inner peace. The peace that comes from within.
A lot of us don't have this, we smile a lot to hide our true pain from the world.
Some of us use shopping as a way to pacify our unhappy state, some use alcohol, some use food, some use sex, some use social media while others just bottle their feeling inside and die in silence. All these measures are ways people develop to help them avoid there present sad state.
The truth is that depression. Is real, and most times we never really know when we have crossed the line of being unhappy to being depressed.
So becks the question: 'How do you know you are depressed?'
In order to answer this question, we must first know the meaning of depression.
Depression is a mood disorder that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest. Also called major depressive disorder or clinical depression, it affects how you feel, think and behave and can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems.
From this definition, you already know that depression is not a good state, and it should be avoided.
A lot of people in the world are currently living with depression, it thrives on their emotions and torments their thinking. Ultimately, leading to their deaths.
The issue of depression may look like it is a personal problem, but it is beyond personal, as it affects the community.
The behavioural pattern of a depressed person is toxic as it lead to instability and behavioral disorders.
