The Taj Mahal is a beautiful, white marble tomb. The Mughal emperor Shah Jahan built it for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Located on the south bank of the river Jamuna near the land of Agra, India, the Taj Mahal took 22 years to build, finally completed in 1653 AD. The Taj Mahal, considered to be one of the new wonders of the world, attracts not only its neighbors for its equality and structural beauty, but also for its intricate Kaliganga, splendid belt flowers, and gorgeous gardens.
