These are nocturnal animals. Cows, buffaloes, deer, wild boar, hedgehog etc. are hunted and eaten. A Royal Bengal Tiger of medium and large size consumes six to nine kg of meat per day. They can also prey on animals twice their own size. Habitat: The Royal Bengal Tiger can easily adapt to hot weather. Tropical forests, mangrove wetlands, deciduous forests can live everywhere. They are native to Bangladesh, India, Bhutan, Nepal, China and western Myanmar. Once upon a time there was a Royal Bengal Tiger in all the forests of Bangladesh. Now they live only in the Sundarbans.
