I am going to share some common mistakes that people don in their writing. I am sure that it will help you to write properly.

Let's take a look at some points that are mentioned below.

1) Inappropriate use of the apostrophe:-

We use an apostrophe in two cases.

• For contractions(don't do not)

• To show possession(Robert's book means the book belongs to Robert)

If still, you are in doubt, leave an apostrophe. It may cause the reader confusion to put an apostrophe where it doesn't belong.

2) This or These

"This" is going with singular and reference or point out something.

i.e. This is a bird.

"These" is going with plural nouns will guide you in the right direction

i.e. These documents need your signature

3) This to That

"This" is used for referencing singular nouns.

"That" helps you to differentiate between two or more singular nouns.
