Everyone has needs, but they can't meet all of them because of limited resources. Because of this, people have to make choices. Whenever a person chooses to buy something, he or she has a different preference that he or she cannot meet.
What is the difference between a desire and a need?
People need things that people need such as food, clothing and shelter to live. They are all of the basic needs because whatever they lose, they can cause illness that can lead to death. Our bodies need to eat vegetables, fish and rice. Home and clothing can be a protection against all types of weather. We need the house to stay at night to rest and shelter and when it is raining. Meanwhile, human needs vary depending on the environment, situation and income.
In the meantime, desire is the things that help a person to ease his or her life. Often the preferences may not be met and they are simply preferred because they are fun. With the amount of human desire, there are times when the desire is harmful.
The need can be met while the desire is not, for the human desire is infinite.
