Elsa, the ice queen from Walt Disney's Frozen, has inspired many young girls with her courage and confidence in portraying her true self. Momina Aamir, three, asked her father for a blue bionic prosthetic arm in an emotive and touching demonstration of Elsa's magical impact. The colour blue is important in the film Frozen, as it depicts Elsa's emotional condition, as well as her acceptance of who she is and her determination to be true to herself.
Momina didn't have her right arm when she was born. Her father, Aamir Abbas, was overcome with emotion as he recalled the moment she wanted to hold his hand so she could pray with him.
Abbas was able to fulfil his daughter's request thanks to the Karachi-based business BIONIKS, which provides orthotic and prosthetic services.
