Some Problem of Nigeria

Nigerian political elites are too impatient to sit down and design a long term employment generation strategy like what we have in Indonesia or Pakistan and India with similar population demographics like Nigeria. Our leaders prefer short term unsustainable quick fixes like Npower.

It is rather unfortunate that even the educated ones in government express such high degree of basic economic incompetence.

We can never solve the unemployment epidemic until we decide to address unemployment as a National Security threat, because it is a threat. These massive jobless youths we pile on daily are actually a time bomb waiting to explode someday. I hope the political elites start thinking.
