Which developments in the information age brought significant changes in the way you live your life today? How did the transmission of information evolve from the ancient time up to the present? Social media is a technology which facilitates the sharing of information, ideas, and other content in different parts of the globe. If social media was deactivated for a month in the country, what could possibly happen? Social media also poses certain risks especially in the dissemination of false information. As a student, how will you use social media to ensure that you do not propagate inaccurate and unreliable information? The most contributor to the idea of information technology is the 20th century. Because curiosity overflows in this era, there are a lot of people driven by passion and desire. They want to be superior in the world which catalysts of war. This huge event changes the mindset of people to create a safe environment far away from destruction and devastation. Time changes everything and anything that people used. Every invention is an innovation to an optimistic person. For example that the stone is used for catching fire and knives. This invention was innovative to use as a tool to build houses in ancient times. Same as well in the present that people who spend and look for possibility makes this thing more accessible to the present. The contribution of the printing press is important because this invention gives people an idea about the word program. Because of this invention people rely on this idea to create more advanced technology. That’s why we have programming and artificial intelligence in the present. When social media close for no reason or just got bankrupt. People will experience a culture shock for they don’t know how to live without social media platforms. But in terms of delivering information, it is not a problem because we have still printing press of newspapers that certainly exist until now. Since we are more enlightened now, as a student. We must have deep critical thinking to filter information and check for reliable sources if it is authentic. If you want to contribute and fight for false information.
