Essential supplements - Omega 3
Did you heard many times about Omega 3 — or as it is called n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA), which are the following: linolenic acid, EPA and DHA, also known as fish oil fatty acids. Their properties are different than n-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) and monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFA). Omega 3 fatty acids are believed to lower blood triglyceride levels, reducing V — LDL in liver and stimulating V-LDL metabolism in muscle and tissue. A bit of history: when the Inuit population was checked, they got a low occurrence of cardio-vascular diseases (CVD). Their diet is abundant in fatty fish and fish oil, so we reach the conclusion that this provides protection against different CVD. The following research discovered that this diet can provide a 0% to 40% reduction of CVD risk (again, the individual factor is prevalent) and decrease the risk of fatal CVD, but no effect was noted on heart dysfunctions (fibrillation and arrhythmia). In conclusion: we do not have enough data to gather strong evidence, but today we have excellent treatment options, so if you survive the first hearth attack, chances are that the second will never happen (we got statins, blood thinners, beta blockers, blood pressure lowering medicine).
N-3 PUFA, or Omega 3 as they are widely known, are effective for high triglycerides, likely effective for heart disease and possible effective for blood pressure, rheumatoid arthritis and weight loss. They have potent anti-inflammatory actions. So, not only does our body need Omega 3 fatty acids to function, but they also delivering some important benefits.
It is good to be delivered by food, not by supplements. Sources of Omega 3 are: fish (wild salmon, tuna, sardines, trout), walnuts, flaxseed, canola oil, soybean oil. The fish is rich in Omega 3 but can also have higher levels of contaminants (mercury, PCB and other powerful toxins). Children and pregnant women should avoid fatty fish. All the foods containing Omega 3 are rich in calories, so moderation is recommended. Algae can be a good replacement if you do not eat fish.
Benefits:
lower the risk of heart disease by lowering elevated triglycerides blood levels;
can curb stiffness and joint pain, can boost the effectiveness of the anti-inflammatory drugs;
lower the depression risk, boosting the antidepressant effects, may help with the depressive symptoms of the bipolar disorder;
it is very important in the infant visual and neurological development;
helps in asthma, lowering the inflammation and improving the lung function, cutting the amount of medication needed to control the condition;
reduces the symptoms of ADHD, but should not be used as primary treatment;
protection against Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, positive effects on memory loss due to ageing.
Side effects:
Omega 3 supplements can make bleeding more likely, if you have a bleeding condition and use medication like warfarin, you should ask your doctor before taking Omega 3 supplements.

Essential supplements - Rhodiola
A very interesting plant, Rhodiola Rosea, also known as golden root, arctic root or rose root, is the root of an adaptogenic plant.
Benefits:
it is an adaptogen (helps your body to adapt to stress when consumed) decreasing stress and improving the symptoms of burnout;
alleviate and fight fatigue;
reduces the symptoms of depression, by balancing the brain neurotransmitters. As a fun fact, compared with Zoloft (Sertraline) is slightly less effective , but produces fewer side effects and it is better tolerated by the body.
improves brain function (reduces mental fatigue, improved sleep patterns, increased motivation);
can improve exercise performance (endurance);
may help control diabetes symptoms (can lower blood sugar by increasing the number of glucose transporters in the blood);
may be useful in the treatment of some types of cancer.
Side effects:
uncommon and mild allergy;
irritability, insomnia, agitation, activation.
Dosage:
on empty stomach, 400–600 mg in a single dose. They need to have the standardized 3% rosavins and 1% salidrosides.

4.11.2020 - Another day into Crypto-verse
Finally the ETH fees started to come back to normal. According to Glassnode, Ethereum miners got paid 57.5 million dollars in transaction fees in October, more than 65% less than September 166 million. Trading volume on DEX, mainly based on ETH, is now down 25%, and DEFI mania seems to cool down at the moment. But, while ETH miners made lees than the last month, they still surpassed the BTC miners profit.
The US elections will affect Bitcoin for sure, but in which way, the analysts try to find out. Trump seems to probably lose, in the light of the latest events, but this is not a sure thing. Anyway, BTC has almost no reaction when Trump trumped his way over Hillary Clinton in 2016. If Biden will win, the US budget deficit will probably increase, and more money will be printed. Bitcoin has an advantage every time this happen. The US stocks may rally, and this lead to Bitcoin increase in the past. Anyway, believe me when i say this, nobody knows for sure and nobody can predict exactly how the market will react.
Bitcoin miners, even if they got less than the Ethereum miners, still managed to benefit of an 8% increase in revenues in October, closing the month at near 30% increase in price. Keep in mind that most probably Bitcoin miners sell their blockchain rewards right away.
Paypal raises their customer weekly buying limit at 15.000 dollars per week, for they crypto services, from the initial 10.000.
ECB bank president Christine Lagarde was talking about the posibility of a digital euro, as they are looking for feedback related to the idea at the moment. I presume the Chinese Digital Yuan provided enough bachground to start the research.
And then, looking at the market, it is strange to see BTC on green with the rest of altcoins in red. Far away from what we hoped, as we were thinking at the BTC-Altcoins moving independently, but with Bitcoin staying the same and Altcoins moving up. Well, this is a market, and unexpected moves happen all the time.
Oh, and i almost forget, Tron network was down for two hours yesterday, after the upgrade to the version 4.1, as a malicious contract attacked the mainnet. At least this is what Justin Sun said on Twitter. Nothing bad happened in the end, so this is all good.

This is Bacopa, also called Herb of Grace, Jalanimba, Bacopa Monnieri, Brahmi, Indian Pennywort, was used in Ayurveda for long time. (Do not confuse it with Gotu Kola, also called sometimes Brahmi.)
Benefits:
it is commonly used to improve ADHD symptoms, Alzheimer’s disease, anxiety;

careful in case of thyroid disorders (might increase thyroid hormone).

no appropriate dose established, depends of age, health, thyroid activity and other conditions.

03.11.2020 - Another day into Cryptoverse
After Ethereum, Bitcoin miners time to shine, with an 8% increase in revenue in October, and the value was close to 13800 and the end of the month. Unlike ETH miners, the ones mining BTC sell it right away.
And a bit of a bad news, for all those hoping that Santa will come early. The second proposal made on Uniswap to give free UNI to everyone who interacted with Uniswap via third party projects failed to aquire the 40 millions votes needed. 20.7 millions voted for, and 714k against the proposal, but the threshold was not passed.
Celsius Network will build a sidechain on Horizen network, using Zendoo, keep in mind that ZEN is a rising privacy token, moving quite fast using minimal fees. Couldn't be more please about it. ZEN is now introduced on Celsius app.
Another privacy coin, Zcash, is one of the most profitable choice this year, with 105% in returns (BTC did only 88%) if we are to check the value on 1st of January 2020. Now Zcash will be available on Ethereum network, through its wrapped version, thanks to the partnership between custodian Anchorage and Tokensoft platform, using an ERC-1404 standard smart contract interoperable with ERC20. zCASH is having its first halving in November 18.
And in s surprising move, Coinbase launches a Visa card in US, offering cashback in BTC (1%) or XLM (4%). There are some clear benefits if you use Coinbase stablecoins USDC. Coinbase already has a card in Europe, but without the cashback.

I was just having fun, talking with my brother about making a token called Dracula token (DRK), which will be of course DEFI, but when i checked on Coingecko, surprise, there is one just made on 10.10.2020. Ugh, we were too slow. We were thinking about a meme coin, probably using Dogecoin as starting point, and Wrapped Dogecoin for Uniswap.
But now, all our dreams shattered. And to think that i could really find a nord korean friend to do my work for less money, after he would promise to not steal and empty the pools using the backdoor he usually installed in all his projects. The thing is, why disappoint the man and disable the backdoor, when he did all the effort to hide it so well.

Crypto.com - a giant free-falling
I am still sorely disappointing with CryptoCom latest behavior, as they drastically reduced the staking rewards with no prior warning. They increased them a bit after everyone complained about it, but the trust in their product is gone, as this is the second time when they surprise everybody (first was the Monacoin - CRO forced exchange, after they previously crashed the MCO tokens on purpose). The CRO token was dumped massively, losing 38% of its value as per today. Not nice, and the more you trusted them, the heavier the losses. Just imagine having 100k in CRO and losing 38k dollars in one week.
To be honest, i do not think that they will ever recover the rank #9 achieved last year in the Top 10 Crypto (they dropped on #16 at the moment). They are still doing regular promotions (The Syndicate) where they sell different crypto at 50% of the price, but you need staked CRO and at least $5000 traded in the last month. Some people trade stablecoins back and forward to achieve that $5000 amount, but it is not worth the effort in my opinion, as the amount of profit is quite small in many cases, due to a high number of participants.
The other initiative, although a dubious one, is The Supercharger, allowing you to deposit CRO and farm UNI (from 1st to 30th of October) with no gas fees, and you can add or withdraw any time. But, as always, there is a catch, you will be paid in the following month (from 1st to 30th of November), according to how much you deposited in the pool. I did that, and there are few days left until next month, so i can see how much UNI is farmed daily. Next on Supercharger, starting from 30th of October, is Polkadot (DOT) with $250.000 allocated for this. There is also a Syndicate event, on 10.11.2020, but i will not participate in it.
If the UNI farmer is negligible, this will make me 100% ready to sell all my CRO and move to another platform. Funny enough, i still did not received the new client 50$ bonus, as i staked the needed crypto, and i am still expecting my card to come to me. Meanwhile, sneakily, the crypto requirements needed to be staked for the credit cards was increased 250% percent. Yes, this just happened few days ago.

The anatomy of a @FARM hack
I am keeping an eye at FARM and Harvest Finance Project. And this morning i've seen this:
''Harvest finance was hacked!''
So, i was like, hacker?!?
Yes, apparently Harvest Finance was hacked using the Curve y pool, and, to quote them, this was the strategy used:
''Like other arbitrage economic attacks, this one originated with a large flashloan, and manipulated prices on one money lego (curve y pool) to drain another money lego (fUSDT, fUSDC), many times. The attacker then converted the funds to renBTC and exited to BTC''

As a direct result of this, they pulled the Stablecoins and Bitcoin pools into the vault, to minimize the damage, but not before the hacker made it out with 25 million dollars. At the moment it is a 100.000 dollars bounty on the hacker, and a request to return the money, as, apparently (and i checked, i swear, this guys do not deserve the hacker name, they are maybe lucky programmers) there is a clear way, easy to follow, to see where the money are gone.
Shall i try? Maybe is not that hard to get the bounty. Let's see.
We got the addresses from the attacker (all of them having BTC and BCH addresses, but i checked a few BCH addresses and they seems to be empty):

But we also have 44 BTC hacked from another pool, before 23229 BTC were sent to the vault. That is 0.06% drained. This is on the BTC account. The 295 BTC were sent to another 2 addresses:

Interesting, let's see the second address on the list. 1HLG86DDEzAxAGmEzxr1SUfPCWcnWA6bMm - this one has 199 BTC sent and left there.

So, i am thinking that the first one was the test, and he couldn't believe that a vulnerability similar with the ERC777 vulnerability, which is well known into the Chinese hackers circle. Also, the hacker could have been inspired by imBTC Uniswap Pool hack from April 18th, 2020, with some similarities from bZx Flash Attack. But while the mentioned attacks made only 300k and 1 million dollars, this one was done 10 times in a row, with an average of 2.5 millions siphoned with each attack. I will keep the rest of investigation to myself now, just in case i run on some lucky cues, 100k is a nice bounty.
Now, this story may have a happy ending, as they said that personal data of the attacker could be linked to the used account. Also, Bitcoin transactions are public, trackable and stored on the blockchain forever, so they are easy to track, making Bitcoin not ideal to use for hacked cryptocurrency. If you did not know, they can even be traced to the private wifi used when you made the address, and this is easily linked with an identity. There are many other tricks, but we are not here to teach hackers how to properly do it, right?
Anyway, as a word of advice, if you HODL a lot of BTC, you should use a different address for every transaction, combined with a VPN or TOR-onion router, in order to protect your funds. Me, with my 0.1 BTC, i do not feel that threatened at the moment.

Axie Infinity ready to conquer Binance

The next project launched on Binance after Injective protocol is Axie Infinity, a game where axies battle each other in teams of 3. You can buy, breed and sell your axies, and you can also trade the Small Love Potions tokens (SLP) gathered completing the daily quest. The SLP tokens can be very lucratively sold on Uniswap, giving you a nice profit. The price of SLP is fluctuating, so you need to check the market to find the best moment to sell, but they are always needed, as the SLP are used for breeding new axies.
Coming back to Binance, they are organizing a lottery for all the users having 50+ BNB balances for 7 days from 2020/10/27 0:00 AM (UTC) to 2020/11/03 0:00 AM (UTC, but it is quite difficult to get tickets, as you need 50 BNB daily for one Axie lottery ticket and 500+ BNB for the maximum amount of 10 tickets. Litebringer - updates on the first blockchain game on Litecoin
There is a slow Litecoin faucet, giving nice amounts in the game.
Yes, i played Litebringer for a while now, and i am pleased with the latest updates, but games on LTC network are still far from ideal. First, while you can do the quest faster at the moment, the litecoin block is still 2:30 minutes, so the game is quite slow. The images are nice and the game mechanics are very interesting. In order to beat one NPC for an off-hand, i was looking at my main character, which is the paladin, using holy magic. Guess what, the off hand NPC was resistant to holy magic, so even with a 3000 power holy i cannot defeat a 2000 power NPC, but i realized that it is weak at dark magic, so a 1300 power dark magic wizards beat the cr*p out of him.
There is a system of keys, letting you to access different fights, there is also a 3 tiered level on defeating NPCs for element shards. There is a weapon upgrade, once you reach max level, resetting the weapon to level 1, but with higher starts. Now, what game did you play like this?
More than that, once you reach max level for your hero, you can upgrade it too, and all stats resets to level 1, but a bit more stronger. Crazy, this game is made to keep you playing it, and i am not even at the 25% of it after one month. I believe it will get much more difficult later, and the amount of farming is quite monotonous and not a lot of choices are available.
Also, i think that this game lacks communication, so a chat will do wonders, once it will become available. The market make you to pay or receive real LTC, but obviously, while the game is well thought, the technology needed for the game experience to be pleasant is still years away. And you got the little thing called fees, that you pay for every quest, sale or buy, even if it is very very small, they tend to accumulate if you play for longer.
The link is up, no referral needed, just some LTC to start playing. Do one character, buy the 30 days one time fee, and start playing. It is interesting, but not awesome. Good if you like to see how a game behave on LTC network.

Paypal set to dominate the crypto-market
Just a crazy idea!
I think that Paypal is trying to achieve the first mover advantage in the cryptocurrency market. This is the real reason for their shopping spree, and the word is around that they are trying to buy the cryptocurrency custodian firm BitGo, and in doing this they will have the control over the crypto HODL, as they started the week with a press release about how people in US will have the option to buy, sell and hold crypto in their Paypal account (they started with BTC, BCH, ETH and LTC first, but there are some rumours about a future collaboration with Paxos - they are partners on a conditional licence at New York department of Financial Services). There are hints of bringing Venmo as a service provider in 2021. Even if they did not say that we can transfer out crypto from Paypal to any other account (which disappointed me a bit) , BitGo is providing qualified and self-managed custody, trading and lending at the moment. There will be some interesting ripples into the crypto-market, as Paypal will probably be a direct competitor to Coinbase, but also Paypal has a long history of playing it cool with the authorities, so i think you will need to pay tax on all the profit made from cryptocurrencies. There are well known names such as Nexo, Coinjar, Zcash and Blockchain Capital using BitGo services at the moment, along many others. If case you don't know yet, Paypal already bought in 2019 Cambridge Blockchain (a digital identity provider) and TRM Labs (a company aiming to help financial institutions fight money laundering, prevent fraud, and stay in compliance). https://www.cambridge-blockchain.com/ https://trmlabs.com/
To quote Dan Schulman, president and chief executive of PayPal:

And then, there is the other aspect, will they provide any interest on the cryptocurrency you hold in your Paypal account or not? This is bringing a huge advantage, even when the interest rates are not as big as Celsius and Blockfi, for example. (I am not mentioning CryptoCom on purpose, as they seems to fail to understand the market at the moment, with the native cryptocurrency CRO losing more than third of its value in the last 10 days.).
Definitely the year 2021 will be an interesting one, and i believe that Paypal will open the gates to the other Big Tech corporations, as they will need to adapt or to be left behind. Not that they are hiding in a corner looking in awe at Paypal. Google just started an initiative partnering with Chainlink, to use its oracles in order to integrate more cryptocurrency data. Amazon itself had registered three domain names related to the blockchain and cryptocurrency all the way back in November 2017, and they are known to use already their own blockchain service for scalable blockchain networks. So, how deep we will go into the rabbit hole? We have a new thing, DEXG Balancer Shared Pool, which is DEXToken’s answer to the current liquidity issues facing DEXs being designed to support liquidity in the ecosystem while also prevents losses for liquidity providers. Since this system is better protected against impermanent loss it can provide investors with more value. To accomplish this task, the firm utilizes a customized asset weight protocol. Crypto.com cutting of the staking rewards
What can i say? I am dissapointed again by Crypto.com, even if they try to survive as a bussiness. This is a major thing, nevertheless, after they did the 5000$ minimum trade rules to participate to their promotions.
I just received an email being informed that on Tuesday 13 October 2020, 09:00 UTC, adjustments were made to Crypto.com CRO Staking and Earn Rates:
• CRO Staking Rates: 6% p.a. for both Crypto.com App and Exchange
• CRO Earn Rates: 4% p.a., 2% p.a. and 1% p.a. for 3-Month, 1-Month and Flexible Terms respectively
• CRO Soft Staking Rate: 1% p.a. regardless of CRO staked
If you staked 10.000 or more before 13th of October, they will bring you the same rate (20%) until the deposit will finish the staking period. After the 180 days are over, everything will only get 6%. Everything you stake for the card, 6%. Everything you have on the Crypto.com Earn, 18% until the staking period ends, 6% after that.
If yuo didn't used your deposit bonus and Early swap bonus until now (14.10.2020), you will only get 6%.
This is a big blow for savers everywhere, as i know many people using their app. As for me, as soon as the staking period ends, i will move all my funds invested in CRO in another form of investment. Paypal new fee for being inactive
So, Paypal just annouced they will introduce fees for inactive accounts, and as an added bonus, i will explain to you how you can dodge this fee, even if you are not active, but you want to keep the account.
First, starting with 16th of December, Paypal will charge £12 (in my case, U.K.), if i was not active in the last 12 months. So, it is not that bad, you just need to log in once every 12 months in order for the account to be considered active. If you were not active lately, you may need to log it before 16.12.2020, so the account will be considered active. You may need to set up an alarm or reminder for the following login, 12 months from now, minus one day.
You do not need to buy anything, as ''an inactive account'' is an account that did not sent, received or withdrawn money, **or** logged in the last 12 months. If you forget to log in for 12 months, the fee to be charged is £12 or whatever less than that amount you have on your account. If your account value is 0 (zero), no fee will be charged, even if you have a card or bank account linked to it.
Paypal said that they do not plan to close the inactive accounts and they will also send you a warning email 60, 30 and 7 days before the date of the fee. However, i find all this situation strage, as you are penalized if you keep money with then, but pay no fee if you don't. The complete opposite situation of a bank behaviour.

DEFI margins and future movements
Kraken is now the first cryptocurrency company to become a bank. Being an officially chartered bank, Kraken does not need to deal with state-by-state compliance. This is only the start of the trend, and more probably 5 years from now the younger generation will ask for bank accounts with access to both fiat and cryptocurrency. But , there is always a but. Even if i have BAT in my portfolio, i must to admit, i do not understand everything about DEFI, even if i can audit a smart contract, somehow. For the average consumer, just keeping a crypto portfolio will be enough, letting the bank to do their best to get him the profit. It will take years, if not decades, until DEFI will become mass adopted. Even in the 3% of people knowing about crypto, there are not many knowing how to use DEFI products. I would really like to know what is the percentage of the people using DEFI, even if the ones that we can see now are just crude drawings of what will be next. The reality will be more surprising than whatever we expect now.
I found an older statistic, where 72% of the people using crypto are also using DEFI protocols, 48% of them accessing it via Metamask. Those are interesting numbers. So, if 3% of the population in UK are using cryptocurrencies, than 3 x 72% = 2.16% of the total population are using DEFI in the summer of 2020. We are talking about 1.43 millions users just in UK. Not a bad start! Depending on many factors, we have an **average APY** of 16% on the very low end and over 800% on the very high end. But this is the long term prediction.
Until then, the following obstacles for the next week are Yfi being rejected at 20.000$, Bitcoin trying to reach 13.000$, and the funny fact that ETH miners revenue is on par with BTC miners one, despite the price difference from 11500$ (BTC) to 375$ (ETH), all thanks to the DEFI sector. As the inquisive minds always find a way, there are now 131,075 BTC on Ethereum-based decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols, with most of them are stored as Wrapped Bitcoin (wBTC). Spencer Noon, the head of DTCC Capital, estimates that this number will be 20 times higher one year from now.
On top of this, we have McAfee saying: “Hello from prison my friends. I am having a fascinating time. Spanish prison is not that bad. We can wear whatever clothes we want. We can smoke and socialize. It’s like the Hilton without turn down service.” Yeah, right, prison is fun. Are you kidding me?

Using Crypto as a lifestyle
After i was watching around, i decided to resize my crypto-projects, and to take a different approach.
First, my next objectives are the following:
A. One Bitcoin - probably kept on some investment platform for interest. Currently 25%
B. 32 Ethereum - kept for interest until i have enough to set up a masternode when Ethereum 2.0 will be here. Currently 9.37%
C. 100.000 CRO - and then order the CryptoCom card linked to 100k with all its benefits. Currently 13%
I am half thinking to sell all my NEO (they are bringing only around 1% interest in GAS now) and buy Ethereum instead.
Now, i estimate at least one year to do this, or even more. But managing to reach this level will increase my crypto-incomes monthly with an order of magnitude x10. Ten times more for one year of saving is a good return on investment.
Next on the list, the faucets. The time spent on claiming on faucets could be used more productively, even if it is just for sleeping more. It is an inordinate amount of time spend (Estimated 60-70 hours per year) for around 70$ per year in term of profits. That is 1$ per hour. I can do more just taking one extra shift at work, and relax the rest of the year.
And after that, the games on the blockchain. While some of them can be played as a fun way to relax, many of the do not worth my time. It was fun testing them, but i need to stop. Off all games, only Axie Infinity may bring a decent profit, and even there the SLP tokens are going down in value. With the TRON returns of chainzarena being only 20% of what it was last month. Many of the games i play just brings something like 0.5-2 dollars monthly. Again, not worth my time.
I am thinking to use the following platform to stake and invest my cryptocurencies:
1.Celsius
2.Blockfi
3.CryptoCom
4.Binance
5.Kucoin
First two I will use them for interest, as they got similar features, and even if BlockFi is slightly lower in terms of interest, i can use their internal exchange to switch between BTC and stablecoin when the market goes down or up a lot.
The last three will be used for staking, as they offer different products, with CryptoCom being used exclusively for CRO token staking, Binance for the BNB related crypto, and Kucoin for some less known tokens (I use them for XYO, LUNA, XTZ and KCS).
I will build a nice Excel tab to follow my monthly progress, and the only part of the equation that i did not analyzed is the blog part. At the moment i use Publish0x, read.cash, Medium and lbry with an estimated 4-500 dollars return per year. I like to write, and i am not doing this only for the rewards, so this is still alright.

NFT bridge between ETH and WAX - Bring me to the future!
If we are to believe our friend here, soon we will have interesting news related to the NFT future. Basically, Kenn Bosak is talking about a bridge to be build between WAX network and ETH network, and maybe even RSK network later. These are very good news, as NFTs are very active on WAX, even if they started on Ethereum, and the fees are almost inexistent there. I will not even start to talk about ETH fees level. New crypto-regulations in UK
Starting from January 6, 2021, U.K.’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has officially banned the sale of cryptocurrency derivatives and exchange-traded notes to retail users, more than a year after first proposing such a ban.
Why?
The FCA considers these products to be ill-suited for retail consumers due to the harm they pose. These products cannot be reliably valued by retail consumers because of the:
inherent nature of the underlying assets, which means they have no reliable basis for valuation (and they included here what they call ''even well known cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple'', well agree to disagree here, as they knowledge is outdated and seems to be stuck somewhere in the 2017)
prevalence of market abuse and financial crime in the secondary market (eg cyber theft) - interesting, we can also point out how much money laundering is done via well known banks, but this will not close the banks or stop us from opening an account there. With education, anyone can learn how to keep their wallet safe, for God sake, i know now scores of people older than 90 that just learned how to use Zoom, if they can do it, anyone can learn how to keep a wallet safe, it is not that hard.
extreme volatility in cryptoasset price movements, this one is true, and you need to learn how to deal with that, psychologically speaking. I would suggest investing small amounts regularly to start with, and then study and learn.
inadequate understanding of cryptoassets by retail consumers. Again, study and learning.
lack of legitimate investment need for retail consumers to invest in these products. Yah, this is the reason why the flower shop next to my Mom's building started to accept BTC payments. This is just extreme prejudice and not enough willingness to bother to read a page or two about it.
So, to summarize, all these motives only show that the U.K.’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is an antiquated enteprise, who cannot learn to adapt and has an unfocused, unwilling, broken view of the real world. To address these harms, real or not, the FCA has made rules banning the sale, marketing and distribution to all retail consumers of any derivatives (ie contract for difference – CFDs, options and futures) and ETNs that reference unregulated transferable cryptoassets by firms acting in, or from, the UK. The official position, using the persona of Sheldon Mills, interim Executive Director of Strategy & Competition at the FCA, said:
‘'This ban reflects how seriously we view the potential harm to retail consumers in these products. Consumer protection is paramount here. Significant price volatility, combined with the inherent difficulties of valuing cryptoassets reliably, places retail consumers at a high risk of suffering losses from trading crypto-derivatives. We have evidence of this happening on a significant scale. The ban provides an appropriate level of protection.’'
And the final conclusion, i quote '' As the sale of derivatives and ETNs that reference certain types of cryptoassets to retail consumers is now banned, any firm offering these services to retail consumers is likely to be a scam.'' Right, when your decision was based on this research:
***73% of UK consumers surveyed don’t know what a 'cryptocurrency' is or are unable to define it – those most aware of them are likely to be men aged between 20 and 44. We estimate only 3% of consumers we surveyed had ever bought cryptoassets. Of the small sub-sample of consumers who had bought cryptoassets, around half spent under £200 – a large majority of these said they had financed the purchases through their disposable income. Bitcoin appears to be the favourite cryptoasset for consumers with more than 50% of the cryptoasset owner survey sub-sample reporting to have spent their money on this product, while one in three [34%] chose Ether.***

Harvest Finance - a new way to yield farm
Few days ago i've read this article on Publish0x about Harvest Finance. To be honest, i knew already about it, and i even participated with one short poem in the creativity contest. Not really a Shakespeare work, but, well, Shakespeare never write poetry right? (I know. A bit dark, given the situation, but what is this Harvest Finance? Harvest Finance said that they automatically farms the highest yield available from the newest DeFi protocols, and optimizes the yields that are received using the latest farming techniques. Hmm, intriguing, but how is this even possible? Checking their Git-Hub repository is definitely interesting and seems quite legit. I am no world class hacker, but the code seems alright and the writting is witty and elegant. Somebody is having fun writting all this stuff. https://github.com/harvest-finance/harvest
Technical things, they got a native token called FARM which is a cashflow token for Harvest, one of the largest autonomous hedge funds. They promote messages like this one:

...which are quite good, if you think about it. I will soon use them to stake a stablecoin, but i did not decided yet which one, be it DAI, USDT or USDC. They do have fDAI, fUSDC, fWBTC , that are the yield-bearing versions of these assets, which are being automatically farmed by the harvest algorithm.
These assets are automatically appreciating, and you can redeem them at any time for DAI, USDC, wBTC.

Farm holders receive cashflows from revenues on AUM, currently set to 30% profit sharing

Just take a look at their interest rates, they look alright, while they are not outrageously high, and they seems stable enough, now that FARM went down to a more stable value.

Axie Infinity game - The next improvements
While NFT get more known and start to grow as a trend, Axie Infinity game experienced a tremendous increase. I must to admit, i got tempted, and i bought 3 Axie to make a team and fight. Now, my lack of experience made me to buy average fighters, or maybe all the other player are much more experienced, but my win to lose ration is 1 to 2. Yeah, you read it right, i lose two fight for every one that i win. And it is annoying, but i still try to understand the game mechanics.
Now, last month they launched the land NFT, and there are few interesting things to be implemented soon.
Chimera now roam the map and can be battled. They made multiple upgrades to this experience.
They’ve made progress around building and upgrading structures. Structures can also be set to work on resource production over time.
Items can now merge between Axie inventories, backpacks, and a general inventory.
Furniture is coming!
They made data storage and performance upgrades to ensure our servers can handle the stress of many landowners playing at once.
This sounds good, and i am looking forward to see the profit for October, as 4-5 days in September made me around 10$ in Small Love Potions (SLP) tokens, as i can sell them on Uniswap. Now even the battle will be improved, making it to look a bit like Heartstone card games. These are some interesting changes to come:
A tentative date for a closed Alpha
Finished a framework for a talent tree and thought about clear cut archetypes for all the classes. Talents will be a way to further distinguish classes from each other and make the game more interesting and teams more customizable.
Named many talents.
Implemented the new interface into our test version.
Finished buffs/debuffs.
Discussed sound principles of card copy and how to make the cards as simple to understand as possible.
On top of that, the RONIN sidechain will be added to wrapped ETH and ERC20, to better support the Axie wallet. Many other features were promised, so we can only be excited for the future of Axie game.
