Electric Shock

Friends, I am Mechanical Engineer and work in a private company. It was a few years back, where I work there are a lot of electrical panels that we were worried about getting electric shock while working on it. No matter how carefully you work, many times the current used to create trembling in the body.

For this, when brain storming was done, one of the many suggestions came that insulating mats should be placed on the side of the panels so that man would work standing on it and there would be no problem of getting current. This measure was also cheap and could be implemented immediately.

Therefore this suggestion was immediately accepted and mats were brought near all the panels. Now the problem of getting current has ended with this, but in a few days another problem came.

Since this place of the plant was in the open area, then that mat was stolen from here. Now no one knew what to do about this new problem. Setting up security for 24 hours for this one task was an expensive deal. Then a worker came and suggested a very simple solution. He said sir, keep this mat here and cut it into 3-4 pieces.

Then these pieces will not be of any use to anyone, we have to stand here and do the work, we will do that. And in fact no mat was stolen after this and a very simple solution to this problem was found.
