Still currently in its early stages Web 3.0 is underway and I believe it’s going to make a huge shift for not just the Blockchain of Crypto or Technology but the entire world. Web3 has been receiving many different donations and funding for their web 3 protocols and shows no signs of slowing I believe especially with the help of the Metaverse.

What Exactly Is Web 3.0?

Originally created to be a more autonomous, intelligent and open internet called the Semantic Web by World Wide Web inventor Tim Bernard-Lee, Web 3.0 is the up and coming third generation of the internet where websites and apps shall be able to process information in a smart way through its technologies machine learning, Big Data, Decentralized Ledger Technology.

Evolution Of Web 3.0 Technology

Apparently, Web3 is an upgrade to Web1.0 and 2.0 To better understand Web 3 and it’s technology try to keep in mind the project isn’t as new as u would believe. Jeffrey Zeldman, an early developer of Web1 and Web2 applications, had already supported and written about Web3.0 back in 2006 in his blogs, Yet conversations around the innovation for Web3 was as early as 2001. Web3 will be made out of a natural evolution of older generation web tools put together with the latest and more advance technologies like AI and the Blockchain, Web 3 also relies on the interconnection between users and increasing internet usage.

Web 1.0(1989-2005)

Also called Static Web  had no algorithms but, was the first World Wide Web with static pages that contains web pages with fixed content coded in HTML which was stored on a web server. It never changes, it stays the same, or "static" for every viewer of the site.

Web 2.0(2005-present)
Also known as Participative or the Social Web was the second stage of the World Wide Web, Web2.0 Paved a way for both social networks and user-generated content to expand and made it easier for users to interact and connect with each other on different platforms like Amazon, Facebook and Twitter all thanks to advancements in web technology like, JavaScript, CSS3, etc

Web3.0 Applications

Still in its early adoption stages with Web3 there’s still room for improvement and deployment yet one of the most important factors for Web3 application to run is it’s potential to break down large scales of information and turn it into accurate knowledge and functional Performance, but with the support of big time companies like Amazon, Apple and Google switching to Web3 I believe it’s safe to say Web3 is on the right track for innovation.

The New Internet

My final thoughts on the evolution of Web 3 is I believe it’s here to stay and the innovation of the new internet is upon us  through the use of big time companies, digital apps and the Blockchain will be more United to connect and make peer to peer transactions faster with less of a hassle.
