The Moon lovers

The moon, the eternal lady of the night, artist of the sky, longed for since the beginning of humanity.

Reason for poems, songs, novels, religions and especially love. How many people have not dedicated love poems as the central theme of the moon? How many have promised us to lower our nocturnal lady from the galactic throne to deliver her as a gift of pure and sincere love?

In terms of psychology it is known as Selenophilia love or attraction to the moon. In humanity, these levels have been so great that they led to send man to set foot on its surface and thus fulfill the immortal dream of touching it, as one touches the face of a loved one.

There are even plans, whether feasible or not, to build a module, a space base on the moon like in a science fiction movie, and if it is feasible, already thinking beyond research and scientific matters, who would not want to live one day in our unique and beautiful natural satellite?

Here is a short poem of my authorship about our beloved moon:

Miss moon

Lady of the night, maiden of the sky

sparkling girls gently dance

in your floating castle

announcing your magical departure

queen of my dreams.

Every night I dress for love

waiting for the time of our secret date

I carry the glasses and the bottle of wine

to get drunk on sweet dreams

and sparkling hope

me from my little window

and you, there on top of your immense and black castle.

Will you go out tonight with your shining nakedness?

Or will you wear clouds as your seductive dress?

Maiden of the sky, lady of the night

eternal the times that you have witnessed

of the most sincere love

and from stealth-sprinkled trickery.

Beloved moon, lady of the night

my heart is with you

just like my mind

who dreams of your infinite love.
